Hello to all!
This is my first post on this forum so I thought I should greet everybody...
Anyway, on with the question...
I've just completed the first stage of my stronghold and now I have to restore the Shurdan-Raplay eggmine by curing the blighted kwama queen etc...
The only problem is that I killed the queen waaaaayy back when I first started the game, long before I ever joined House Hlaalu and now I am told that it's impossible to advance. Please tell me there is a way around this... I don't generally like cheating in games, but if that's the only way then I'll do it. My character is already level 35 and there is no way that I'm going to restart.

P.S. Does anyone else think this is unfair...I mean, how are you supposed to know? Surely the developers could have made the queen respawn when this quest is given. It's not as if this kwama queen is a stand out figure in the game, I've already cleared out dozens of mines and dispatched as many queens. I can understand if I took out a duke of sorts or the head of some faction, but my advancement being halted because of some anonymous beast...

Anyway, enough of my griping!

Someone posted almost exactly the same thread about four weeks ago. I suggest you use the search button.

There should be some one else who can give you quests in a different city and you should be able to skip it all together. The quest giver in bolmora might be messed up but there is also one in vivec and a few more appear once you get to rank 4.

If you have the pc version there might be a console command to reset the queen.
