You missed cat and dog, except for chihuahua which I imagine would be similar to rat but with less meat. I was surprised at how many of these I have eaten. You have Squirrel twice, which is Ok by me as I like Squirrel. Bon apitite

I said squirrel twice? Hm....so I did. Better edit that out......
As for you evilkoal, I'm not really into eating predatory animals.

I can give personal opinion of some I've had.
Alligator: Has a bit of a "muddy" taste, reminded me of bullhead...a type of catfish.
Antelope : Not as "gamey" as deer. I like it.
Bison/American buffalo: Good stuff. They sell bison burgers and steaks in some stores.
Camel: Not as stringy as horse.
Cat: sweeter than dog meat.
Chipmunk: Much akin to squirrel
Deer: Not my favorite, but many like it
Dog: Make sure they're not infected with rabies.
Dolphin: you never read David Brin's "Startide Rising", did you. Never ate it.
Elk: real gamey Never tried seconds.
Gerbil: Have to ask my cat.....he's says they're great.
Goat: Best barbequed.
Goose: Good stuff, a bit greasy compared to chicken
Grouse: My favorite of game birds, better than pheasant.
Hamster: My cat says to be sure to get them before they get in the exercise wheel since that toughens the leg meat a bit.
Horse: Stringy, but better than donkey.
Moose: Moose, moose, I like a moose.
Quail : Good, but the breast is really the only meat on it.
Rabbit: In a gravy like a Swiss steak is the way to go.
Squirrel: Pretty much like rabbit, but remember it's cousin to a rat.
The order for better taste: Herbivore, omnivore, carnivore, salad.

Just have to catch the damn rabbit in my backyard...then the squirrel...then the chipmunk......
I'm not exactly sure where I'm going to find Panda meat (Black Market, anyone?)

Congratulations. You have successfully given PETA a heart attack...
Venison is good though... While I've never had gopher before, I have smoked one out of a hole...
Several of the animals on this list are highly endangered by the way, and eating one would be a serious offence... just FYI.
Oh yeah, (American) Bison is good too. So is Aligator. It's a bit spicy though... In a piece of jerky though!

If you really want to know I will tell you as I have actually eaten most of those and some that are not on you list as well.
All are good, trust me......when you are hungry, and I don't mean from missing a meal or two I am talking days without food, then you know hunger......when the body starts to consume itself and you smell the smell of freshly baked bread and don't know where it is coming from.
That is hunger, trust me you will eat anything to survive....the bad thing is that you actually enjoy it.
Really what do you think is in that mystery meat at school?

Friends and I were talking about survival options once and I commented, "If it were a matter of eating or dieing, I'd have no qualms about gutting you out and throwing your carcass on the grill no matter how much I like you."
Good thing people aren't on the endangered list. Remember: Tuesday is Soylent Green Day.....

I think I'm safe to say I've had one kind of meat you guys haven't tried.
I was a Vegetable-tarian for most of my young adulthood, but now I'll starve in my household if I say that way. I'm a light eater, so I will go sparingly on the exotic game, or any kind of animal.
Marcus Wolfe

Well, marcus, the best way to describe it is a jumbo hot dog weiner, but this kind is organic. i'm sure you've handled one before, and is suitable for vegetarian diets. be careful on how you handle it. you can get a squirt in the eye.

Will have to go to the store since I only have Spumanti and a Raspberry Zinfandel on hand.
I can feed you on my 10.5 x 22' redwood deck. Yeah, I have a big deck. All the women in the neighbouthood have admired my big deck. Some of them have even asked if they could come up on my big deck. They really enjoyed being on my big deck. I like my big deck and I'm glad my big deck is right out there, for everybody to see. You would really like my big deck.

I don't think that the Blue Whale exists, anymore. Go for Killer, because there is more of them around, or Humpback.
