I was messing with body textures this morning (and like an idiot) forgot to back up files.
I ended up with everyone having pink bodies and black faces.
I redid my OMOD and reactivated, etc.
I fixed all the body iessues.
However now all my vanilla human type heads are BLACK. ears are fine. Custom races are fine. Some of the NPC that were added with companion shares are fine, some are not. Argonian and Khajits are fine.
EVERYONE ELSE HAS A BLACK FACE!!
I have no clue what I have done but does ANYONE have a clue how I might correct this?

PLEASE HELP ME!

Yeah, it was a joke. I don't entirely understand it myself, but MB has a crazy sense of humor. As for the topic at hand, I've seen the same problem happen with companion mods at times. It seems that it's improperly located textures. Have you deleted or renamed anything? (I feel obligated to remind you that game-troubleshooting isn't my strongest talent)

I have an odd sense of humor also. But not that. It can be taken wrong by so many in so many ways.
It doesnt matter now. Everything crashed and i am having to reinstall Oblivion and everything else.

That REALLY sucks. I had to do that once with about 70 mods installed(wasn't pretty).

On a helpful note, try reinstalling any cosmetic mods that your save depends on, as you may have overwritten some files or file paths.

I bet you will back up you files next time, once burnt lesson learnt.

I am glad my sense of humor is in tact because otherwise I would need medication.


I have backed up most of my downloads so I dont have to redownload EVERYTHING again. But still. <sigh>

I feel like I want to puke.

I think I will play Morrowind for a bit. At least I havent f'ed that up. AND I WILL BE BACKING THAT UP FOR SURE!!!!
