If you could tell me were I could steal them or buy them this would help

Why do you need exquisite clothes is there something special or

i dont recall wearing exquisite clothes to look "cool", its just a way to get the other NPC's disposition raised towards you, not many people care much about what their character looks like...maybe the weirdos, not normal people. <_<
your best bet...check the clothers in balmora or caldera, their your best bet, caldera is a 100% for a exquisite robe, the enchanter in the balmora mages guild is wearing one!

Theres a fine clothier in Mournhold, Balmora, Ald'Ruhn, Somewhere in Vivec foreign quarter I think, Sadrith Mora basically in all moderatley big towns.
You could just kill someone wearing exquisite clothes or if you're felling lazy add it through the console.

In Ondres Nerano's house Balmora bedroom and closet there are several you can get right at the beginning of the game without attracting unwanted attention. And the reason for wearing them, viper 7, is that you can enchant them to quite a high level. Very useful for those constant water walking, breathing and levitating spells!

strange, i used them for spells, i got a nice open spell 100 by 100, cost me alot, but it was worth it.
also some other things, like lock and all, i use it alot, im getting chased by some creatures, i run, and lock a door, they cant get through, and im trapped like in real life
The fine clother in balmora who is near the hlaalu mansion should have some of the exquisite items.
The Telvanni's have the best cloths so look for a clothier in Tel..
Alternatively you can kill the clothier in Balmora..she wears some good stuff herself

The clothier in Tel Mora us the Bosmer Elegnan. She is the merchant the player buys Falura Llervu's exquisite clothes from.

Falanaamo, the Altmer clothier in Caldera, sells 5 of them.
There is also on in the Gilmothran Ancestral Tomb and one in the Andavel Ancestral Tomb.

He does not sell exquisite eventhough he is wearing some. You can kill him for what looks to be an exquisite shirt otherwise he is pretty useless.

If you would read the above posts, you would see that we were talking about what was mistaken for an exquisite shirt, and was actually a common one.
Falanaamo is wearing Expensive, not exquisite, clothes.

Different people prefer different enchantments.
I think exquisite clothes accept enchantment up to 60 but I may be wrong. I use permanent enchantments of water-walking, water-breathing, night-eye and levitation, I usually also fortify speed and strength but with rings and amulets. There is a thread about people's favourite enchantments. It might be worth your while looking it out.

It is strange that al the armors have so bad enchantment opertuneties and that exquiset cloths have such good enchantment opertunities. 
Just look for exquisite clothers everywhere. Stores, caves, body's. You can find them everywhere.

Huh, I only just noticed this. The clothier in Caldera is used in an Imperial Cult quest and will give you an enchanted pair of trousers (pants in the US) as well as two red and black shirts if you raise his disposition high enough. The enchantment is hardly exciting but you might as well get them rather than kill him for his very unremarkable clothes.
