Does anybody know how to add claws to vampire(as in really long nails). :blink:

sorry, aint possible unless you change the models of the characters, you see, the nails were only textures on the hands of NPC's and players, so unless you have 3d studio max, theres not much you can do, not to mention how tricky it would be to script it, and you would have to come up with your own damage type...which i do not think is possible unless your a programmer.

ill help out, but i cant straight away, im a little pre-occupied with Deus Ex 2, the ultra lag on a pentium 3 with shadows on high, and i cant turn off anti aliasing because the looneys who made it are gay, causes me to get 7fps in a area with more than 4 characters....amazing game though, better lighting system than splinter cell, and thats saying something (boyah!)

but i can help with the claws, id have to copy the hands of each race, and apply long nails to them, which is a easy thing to do, the damage type wont be hard, unless you script it so when you become a vampire, hand to hand changes to damaging health, instead of fatigue

add an effect, using the CS, to damage health on Hand-to-Hand attacks. that is the best way i can think of.

I'm not exactly good on the construction set,the only thing i can make is a spell
a weapon and an enchantment.That's why I put up this topic.By the way all i need is the long black nails to each race so hen they turn into vampires,the nails would appear,the reason i'm telling you this is because i'm a spell caster so don't really use hand to hand,but if i'd ever did,i could just(like breton thief oriana said)add an effect, using the CS, to damage health on Hand-to-Hand attacks.

You can't add damage to hand-to-hand attacks. It's not an object you can just add an enchantment to. Fists are hardcoded, as far as I know- claws from Bloodmoon were changed fists- just a different art files. Just as there's no way to make a cast-when-strikes golve enchantment, there's no way to enchant fists.

Well, there is a global that changes the PC's and NPC's eyes to having no pupils when they change into a vampire...perhaps the claw idea could be implemented as a part like that. If you check the global scripts, there must be something mentioning the eye change. If not, then it's hardcoded, and there's nothing you can do about it, even if you could make claws. You can make some gloves that look like claws...

I went to "globals"I don't see anything with the word eye on it,but i do see something that says "werewolfclawmult" I clicked on it but nothing happens

I am a big vampire fan ,so of course I became one when I got morrowind.I was a little dissapointed ,it limited the gaming experience.So i began to download mods to make playing as a vampire more fun.And it was,except something was missing.I been thinking about this for some time.... it sure would be a good addition for any vampire players out there.I think it is a good idea.
Now the only problem is:I don't know much about the editor(scripting,retexturing,ect)so I can't make a mod like this .But it could happen,if I had help.
I need scripters. I need moddelers and skinnners.
