I'm going to try and introduce some semblance of purpose into this spam-fest, and so save your hides from the moderators' wrath.

Orcs and Elves are bound by the Dark Forces to hate and kill one another, since Orcs are in fact Elves, taken and corrupted by Melkor (Morgoth).

The Orcs themselves are apparently responsible for arming and armouring themselves, since when the forces of Sauron (not Saruman; they have a much more distinct organsational structure) they leave clothed in whatever they could find, be it animal skins or metal taken from previous victim's bodies.

And yes, the Orthanc Uruk-Hai's armour is slightly reminisent of samurai style, all be it dark and evil.

Um i belive Breton Thief was speaking of the Morrowind orcish armor not, the Tolkien uhiriki armor, persnonaly ive never been a big fan of orks or samuri, the orks... eh, to cowardly, and the samuri... to honorable, life in combat shouldn not have to be hinderd by a cowardly nature or by a strict code of conduct, nor should it be guided by honor, but by ones skill in combat, or battle prowress, well sorry bout gettin a lil off-topic there, its hard not to spam in this kind of thread.

Kind of the whole point of Ork vs. Samurai: the ork wins because of his cowardly nature (sort of), and the samurai loses because his code of honor has prevented him from keeping up with the times.

Ummm... are we talking about ES orcs or LOTR orcs?
