Full Version: oblivion directory?
what exactly is the blivion directory, is it my "oblivion" file or something else
When somebody refers to the 'Oblivion' Directory they are talking about the folder that has the game and most (but not all) of the subdirectories required to play Oblivion. It is usually located at C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion on an XP system.
Mods are placed in the data subfolder in the oblivion folder, C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\data
The rest of the files are located in another 'Oblivion' folder that contains the saved games and the Oblivion.ini file. It is in a completely different location C:\Documents and Settings\your user name\My Documents\My Games\Oblivion

ok thanks alot to u, but now it says that im running on 1.2.0.201 version of oblivion istalled by SI and that i need to upgrade to 1.2.0.416, how do i do thing
