What do I do with them? They are not showing on the data files for oblivion!

Extract it with WinRAR, or 7-zip, or anything that can extract RAR file.

I have a set of tutorials for people new to mods. It covers downloading, unzipping (RAR is one of several zip file formats) how to keep your downloads organized, getting the unzipped file into the game and some troubleshooting. It includes a link to a very good FREE unzipping program 7-zip that will handle any compressed file you find on the Oblivion boards (including rar). it also includes a sample zipped mod located on Tesnexus (this site) to practice on.

just an "add-on": if you find a .ashx file, replace it by "name".zip. Then you can extract the file.
