I thought I may as well introduce myself, seeing as I've posted a little bit already!

My name is Nova and I'm 18 years old - that's as much as you're getting. =P
I've been gaming since the age of two, that's right, two years old. My first game was Sonic The Hedgehog and I'm still part of the fan community after joining it eight years ago. I primarily frequent a site formerly known as Sonic CulT, now X-CulT, which focuses on researching unreleased games, protos and other such information.

I'm a heavy Guild Wars player, I've been playing for 25 months now and I'm in the oldest guild in the game ('Zealots of Shiverpeak [ZoS]'). My favourite game is Sonic 3 & Knuckles.

I'm a videogame writer, planning to break into the mainstream games journalism scene in the future. I currently write for two websites, TheGameReviews and Sonic Spin. One is all-sorts; reviews, previews, articles covering all games. The other is primarily Sonic game reviews but also covers other games that the members are interested in.

I look forward to making useful contributions to this forum, although I may be quite idle at times. I'm a regular at X-CulT (Been there four years), Sonic Spin (Two years) and my Guild's forums, so I'll try and find time to post here.

The Ten Commandments of Nexus

1) Worship Cthulhu or he shall swallow your soul upon his return. (If Ninja_lord doesn't disembowel you first )
2) NEVER demean the The_Terminators fishy-sticks.
3) Fear the grues
4)Don't feed Bob( You'll see him eventually, I'm sure)
5)Beware the socks(ask Malchik)
6) Only purchase your top-of-the-line instruments of chaos from Lord Slyther himself. NEVER attempt to sell U.S.F. weaponry without Lord Slyther's permission. Those who illegally sell these weapons will be punished by being subjected to 'The Golden Touch of Death' power of Slyther's golden hand.
7) In addition to Cthulhu, kneel before the awesome might of.....Accordians.
NEVER attempt to encourage sanity(revised now that there is a Sanity Clause, see Sanity Clues in the lounge )
9)Don't Spam (that one is there to save Sarac the trouble )
and last but not least
10) Embrace the insanity( for you shall see little of anything else here )

Failure to comply with all of the above shall result in being tied-up,wrapped in tin-foil, and thrown onto a bon-fire!

@Newbie here : You don't really have to bow to Cthulhu if you don't want to. You can worship whoever you want. Don't let Ninja bully you to bow to Cthulhu's false godship. But I heard he's been banned yesterday, so that saves the cake for many users.

If Cthulhu tries to eat you, let me know, and I'll kick his ass over and over for you.

@jojo man : I guess everybody can believe that Cthulhu exists, but he is he-should-not-be-named. Along with the sinner. I see the numbers in ninja's name. 666. Unfortunately I will not bow to his lesser being. Why should I bow to a inferior God? My Oblivion char's the King of his specialized half-dragon Gods....

Slyther is correct nova...you needn't worry about commandment #1 any more(especially since we have Sly's superior godness around ). But number 7 has been revised and shortened:

7)Kneel before the awesom might of...Freddy's Accordian.

#1 will be replaced eventually so keep on the lookout!!

It's a lot to remember, but I'll try and keep it all in mind.
