Sorry for sounding noobish, but, I was wondering what happens when (if) the Daedric Siege Crawler comes out of The Great Gate in the quest at Bruma, when Martin opens The Great Gate. Does it destroy the city, or do you just get a sort of "Game Over" Message? huh.gif

When the timer runs out, the crawler supposedly destroys Bruma, thereby forcing you to reload.

It's too bad that they don't let you continue playing... Like in Morrowind, if a major character dies, you get one of those "The thread of prophecy has been severed" messages... basically saying, "Your screwed! Continue if you want, but you cant complete the main quest! Have fun!"

But it still lets you continue... dry.gif

Edit: Or CAN you???? blink.gif

Hey, I'm just happy that they let you fail. The only time you can fail is either now or at the battle at the IC.

@ edit: The game forces you to reload; it doesn't get simpler than that.

Darn... I wonder if it's possible to remove that "Script..." (I guess you could call it that...)

Yes, I guess, but I don't think that as the difficult part.
Later, you should return and find Bruma destroyed, many citizens killed and the refugees outside or in different cities. You should reconquer it with the remainder of the forces. Hey, how nicely boring ! Like doing Kvatch again !

And then ? Why should Dagon stop there ? He aims to conquer all of Cyrodiil, so the modder should let him open another Great Gate near another city and repeat all of the mess.

Also, this would mean not being able to complete not only main quest, but also many side quests involving other NPCs.

Apart from being so difficult that I would mark it as "nearly impossible".

tsk tsk you should know that Dagon would stop there due to no one being bothred modding the other city raids and cover it up by saying that "after deefting bruma and martian dagon quit while he was ahead jsut in case and had a lovly tea party with slaves in paridise the end" biggrin.gif
