I was wondering, since this has to do with Middle-Earth, if there could be created a section devoted to answering questions, discussing thoughts, and anything in general that has to do with J.R.R Tolkien's world and his books.

I thought this might be a good idea because, 1. It would be located in a public forum where the topic is relevant, 2. Most people who visit this particular public forum most likely have read the books or are familiar with Tolkien's works, 3. It would give more background and give a better sense of history to and behind the Mod itself.

I didn't want to post this in the Off-Topic forum because it may be discussed for a little while, then cast aside. You could, if you wanted to, include the ME-Trivia in this new section as well, if you considered creating a section devoted to the discussion of Tolkien's work overall.

Feel free to lock if this question is a dumb one, I would like to hear your two cents on this though, thanks

Yes I would agree with making this, and I'm sure it will all happen, as it will not only help us Tokienites-in-training, but also help the noob's to understand a little more about the mod world they will be going through. And a good reason why some of the things aren't being included.

Sounds like a good idea to me. At the very least, it'll spawn some good, knowledgable, and civic Tolkien debates that theonering.net, and thereandbackagain.net seem to succed at.

As someone who just started reading something besides Lord of the Rings I think it would be great. Up until the movies came out and I strated looking around I didn't even know there were more books and stories. besides it would give the local memod gurus a chance to show off thier knowledge.
