What is your dream game room?
Mine would have as many computers required to play every pc game ever made. I would have a library containing every game for every platform ever made(even though I'll likely play 100 out of all of them

). I would have 3 widescreen T.Vs with every platform and a large stereo system. I would need to have another library containing every rock, punk, metal, every music genre except rap, hip hop, soul, and R&B. I would have a huge fridge with tons of quick gamer snacks. I think i covered everything.....

Seriously, a handful of carefully selected pinbal machines. There's somthing about 90's pinbal games that just beats the pants off of other games.
yes their maintenence is high, but I find nothing beats a good game of "Stargate" or "Meadival Madness" or "Boxing Pub".

That thread is too old, Ninja, and anyone else posting there would get a warning about necromancy.
Anyway, my dream "entertainment room" would consist of a 42" (not too big, yet not too small) widescreen plasma TV, my Xbox 360 console, my Windows Media PC, and enough room for an audience of 20-30 people.

I've already seen my dream gamer room. It had a 42" widescreen plasma, speakers in all the walls (BIG speakers!), movie theater seats, and a 300 dvd changer. I guess it's more of a dream entertainment room than a dream game room, though.

You people will need a Chair. You need something to roll around on to browse the giant Room, or should i say "Hall"

Pinball Maschines: I'd like to add "Big Guns" and "Laser wars" to the Collection.

Yes 3 screens so you can get the peripheral vision effect, don’t forget the comfy lounge chair high tech controller & every console system on the market.

3. Super Computer, one that could play ALL my games at ridiculously high speeds, with the BEST graphics (also Quarl's Texture Pack III for Oblivion

.
4. Leather couches and a tricked out gaming chair.

Room? Feh, who needs a
room? I'm holding out for a full VR interface...
Seriously, though, my dream gamer room would include one of
these, max specs, dual bootable. You just can't beat dual quad-core processors, 4TB of HD space,
32GB of RAM, and a 1.5GB graphics board. You could run half a dozen
games at a time with a rig like that!

Screw LCDs and plasma screen tvs.
This is what will display all my wonderful games. Speaking of which,
this is what I would be playing them in. With equally powerful computers to match. Which, escapes me at the moment, but I'll find it.

If I ever bought an Apple, I'd nuke the hard drive and install XP and Unbuntu. Especially since Apply has finally admitted that pc hardware tech is superior to the crap they used to put in there.

Mine would have a PS3 and Xbox 360 (who needs a Wii?) hooked up to thanodai's theater.
Then you'd go into another room and see a computer with 76% of the world's current computing power.

a large room shaped like a dome. The dome is actually a screen, including the floor. In the middle would be a treadmill which rotates 360 degrees. I could play virtual reality Oblivion. The screen on the floor would display the grass and the dome would display the surrounding enviornment. If I turn around i see what is behind me and not turn the game's camera. There would be gloves that control the player's arms, allowing me to pick up objects such as a silver longsword. Each finger in the glove has a sensor, allowing me to make jestures such as wiggleing each digit. The set also come with boots for the leg areas. Each area on the suit vibrates depending on where i have been hit or shot.
THAT is the ultimate system.

My ultimate gaming room would have an alienware gaming laptop (wroth about $6,000), A FC twin, Sega genesis, Xbox 360, Wii, PS2, Lots of shelves for original game boxes and cases. I'd probably have a wall mounted TV for all of my games. My Wii, PS2, and xbox 360 would all have Broadband speed internet, so I could play online, lets not forget my Gaming laptop. I'd also Have a NES dvd player (look that up on youtube, you'll see what they look like) so I could watch movies and stuff. I'd even be able to hook up my Alienware gameing laptop up to my Wall mounted TV ^^, and that's my ultimate gaming room.
If you're woundering why I didn't put a PS3 on the list, well, I'm not really a fan of the PS3...
Now for my games on my gaming laptop
