I recently got Oblivion and installed it and everything, got a few mods, and so when i go to play it, the ground texture is replaced with a repeated map of cyrodiil, everywhere, and the only mods i have are: deadly reflex 4.03, midas magic (latest idk what number the version is), and alternate start v1.2 by robert evrae

What are your computer specs?

Alright, for someone that actually had this problem a while back, computer specs don't matter. What happened in my game was I had copied my Oblivion setup over to a new computer (while keeping all file directories intact), and for some reason, all the new 1.2 shaders (in the "Shaders" folder in Data) were somehow renamed when I transfered OB over. Simply delete all the old 1.0/1.1 shaders and replace them with the new 1.2 ones. (Sorry if my explanation is over your head, as I tried hard to explain in layman's terms )

Can someone make a sticky saying
'MESSED UP GROUND? LOOK HERE!'
and just simply put ''reinstall game, and update to a 1.2 patch FROM HERE[link to main site].''

Theres about 9 of these threads back a few pages..it's all because of the latest 1.2 patch, coupled with a few other reasons.

actually i just went to options>video ingame and changed texture size to 'large' and it fixed it, i saw that that fixed some other ground texture problems so i tried it and it worked
