I have this thing with my character, he's got 0/0 magicka, I forgot when I got this..
the only way I can get my mana back is by putting on the archmages robe, or writing in the setmagicka thingy in the console...
When I take of the robe my mana is emptyfied again!
When I save and restore after using mana cheat...no mana,...
I have NO IDEA of w00tz going on ! HELP

If you have a robe that gives you more mana that you allready have and then you use up all the robes mana then you will have 0. Or if you have cheated there is not a wierd thing that it may bug. (I didnt tell that you have cheated i just told if you have)

I wouldn't call it cheating, i would call it saving time !

No drain magicka spell can do that! can it?

You're right it has to be because of the Archmage's robe or the "saving time" thingy.

Sounds like a glitch to me... do you have the latest patch? One of them may fix it. Otherwise, it looks like you're stuck using the console for magicka

just set it through the console again, i do recall when reading the fixes part of the readme, it mentioned something about magicka and that robe, so its definately a bug

I had to do that console code while fighting Almalexia!
She almost cought up with me...because after a while she damaged my boots of speed so I couldn't use them anymore so it got kinda harder to strike and run.
I didn't think her spell was too powerful, it was more inpressive when she actually hit me with the hopesfire! I lost about 1/10 of my health for every darn hit !

Think I remember the robe of the archmage bug. It does as described and was fixed in a patch (somewhere around 1.5 I think), however IIRC if you had already put on the robe prior to patching it didn't fix it. That may have changed with the latest petches however.

Try patching with the latest version always a good start if you have any bug problems.

And where do I find this patch?
