I'm thinking about getting Lost Odyssey for the 360, the game looked fairly interesting to play. I've also looked into Eternal Sonata, it sounded alright but the thing about characters with musical names and fatal conditions made me think iffy about it.

I've played Assassins Creed, that was one game I remember seeing that i looked into, and in my opinion its an innovative game though select people criticize it either for the idea or the gameplay. [i'm not going to turn this into a debate]

I'm a good fan of First Person Shooters and Role Playing Games [Final Fantasy, Oblivion, Half Life, Halo]

Are there any other games anyone would recommend for the 360? If you can't think of any for the 360 how about the PC, whether they are old or new.

With the pc though, I have had problems with the PC version of Gears of War, though it runs fine now, i'm not about to buy another one because of what happened with that game (Once i tried playing that, i think it might have caused my system to fail)

If you want a change of pace, you could try 'Grim Fandango' for PC, though I don't know how it would play on an uber rig.

Morrowind is always a good game to play on Xbox (not 360) and PC, although PC is better. If you can find a GOTY (Game of the Year) Edition, you'd be set.

If you're looking for a good first person shooter then i would have to recommend F.E.A.R. Note: While the game itself was a blast(at least for me ) neither of the expansion packs were that great. And i've only played the demo for the 360 version but from what little bit i've seen you'd be better off with the pc version.

And for a Role-playing game, Mass Effect is really great.

I've been playing JRPGs since Nintendo or thereabouts and they've really lost their hold over me. Probably because I can't bother being a 23 year old playing as a bright-eyed, bushy-tailed 12 year old who saves the world with at least one fluffy animal companion.

So! Games I'm playing sort of concurrently include: Mass Effect (360, PC when it drops), Neverwinter Nights 2 (PC), and I always keep Half-Life 2 (PC and 360) ready for when I need to shoot something. No need to mention Oblivion (PC), right? Of course, that's a given.

Looking down, tucked between an overpriced guitar amp and the satin stained wood of my desk, I can see a copy of Crysis begging to be played, but I hesitate to install 6gigs of system raping power on my Vista run rig.

The first "Dungeon Siege" I found to be very fun for some reason. the Second, I've never played so that "might" be worth it too?

A few years ago, I actually liked 'Sacred' and the expansion "Sacred underworld" <~~ I had to import from the UK as it wasn't sold in the U.S.

I was still somewhat of a diablo fan (diablo 1, not 2) and this to me felt like what Diablo "should" have been.

it feels dated a bit now and it's buggy but really it's worth the money to be entertained and the story isn't half bad.

Aslo if you like those types of games, AND if you can find it... "Rage of Mages" that's a retro PC game that isn't a "gem" but still is kind of entertaining for the $2.99 I paid for it in the bargain bin *gwafs!*

I like the game Heroes of Might and Magic 3, for PC. It's an older game, I guess a bit of an empire building one, but I have fun with it. Plus, you can buy it cheap on Amazon, expansions included.

There's also an unofficial expansion too which adds a new campaign, new items, terrains, monsters, and other features. In The Wake of Gods it's called. As if that game didn't have enough replayability on its own...

That's another game that is certainly in my top 10.

The Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale series of games are pretty good. And if you can find it, Icewind Dale has an downloadable expansion, Trials of the Luremaster available for free. I think CNET still has it.

I recently got a nice RTS game called The Outforce going again. It had some excellent graphics for its time. Due to the fact that it takes place in space, it also has some 3 dimensianal qualities. For instance, using a towship, I can go pull things along, and they will actually go under some obstacles. I think the game has three or four levels in its movements. Neat, eh?
