Full Version: Transfering 2-hand weapons to 1-handed ones.

Meh request sounds fairly simple, but telling from my own experience it is probably way harder than it sounds. What I would like to request is a mod that transfers two-handed weapons (Battle axes, claymores, warhammers, etc) into one-handed ones, allowing one to carry a shield with the potentially modified two-handed weapon. Or an individual who happens to know how to do this o.o (Don't get confused now tongue.gif)

~~~What I've used/tried thus far~~~
This mod below is not what I'm looking for. It only changes the animation.
Changing the weapon's wielding manner from BluntTwoHand to BluntOneHand in the Construction Set.
The (unwanted) effect:
Notice the battle axe still being located on the back.
I used one of my many characters. This one happened to have a battle axe on him, and is my only male character. Yes, I'm a girl. Girls play Oblivion too. *frown* In case you're wondering, it's a Skyrim Khajiit, by Cerath from this website. Link: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4036
The reason I want this whole thing to work is because these Skyrim Khajiit are way taller and bigger than any other PC/NPC, so the picture remains imperfect if this won't work. Think of a Xivilai with a warhammer, only a Khajiit of the same height with a battle axe...
Anyhoo, moving on.
Using Nifskope, I've tried editing the value "BackWeapon" to "SideWeapon" but sadly the effect in-game remains the same.
Aaaand I guess that's it for now. I can be contacted in this thread, I'll be checking it daily, through PM on this forum or through e-mail: bell_amg@hotmail.com. I'll be fully co operational, if necessary.
Thanks in advance!
You need to change it in the CS too.
Which I did. I probably forgot to mention that. I tried the NifSkope edit only, the CS edit only, the two combined, etc. I even changed "Battleaxe" into "Waraxe" in the hope that it would recognize it as one...
