Hello,

So I was taking a tour through crumbling mine today with a new character I was trying out and a I came to the area with the crack in the wall where some bandits were lurking.

I decided to despatch them when I found that one of them had the ability to kill me in one blow with his iron battle axe which I thought was odd as this has never happened to me with bandits before.

Upon killing him after I reloaded I looked at his axe and noticed that it had a base damage of 70. However it was an iron battle axe of sparks with a 5 lightening damage enchantment which would not have been enough to hurt me like it did.

My character currently has a blunt skill of about 40 a strength of about 70 and 100 health. I am also running Oscuros Oblivion Overhaul which may have caused this however Im not sure.

Has anyone encountered this before? is this normal?

What level is your character?

OOO changes weapon damage. I currently have a warhammer that has 137 base damage.

It wont matter, the mines/dungeons all randomize each time, so you wont find the same thing in the same cave twice, unless its quest related.

I dont have OOO but I have never come across such an overpowered weapon that was not part of a mod before.
