more stupid sativarg crap

I'm up to s2e4 and this show has some disappointing writing and irritating common sense errors. The show is tolerable but not the quality I expected from the first episode. rolleyes.gif confused.gif

But then the boy gets brave and says I love you.

So OK now I'm hooked again. But seriously, for zoologist this Professor Nick Cutter (Douglas Henshall), is pretty lame. It was obvious to me that a mammal was making the Mer's sound and that the dino in s01e01 was not a "lizard" but a warm blooded Saurian. The list of lameness gos on and on... The writers are to blame here but the character still gets to be stupid. Not cool.

The show does get a few points in my book though when in S01E05 Conner looks at Tom's saved game while playing Oblivion. Good realism and episode continuity. Plus OBLIVION on TV. He gets bugged when Abby gets in frount of the screen, LOL.

The one character who shows some real promise as an adventurer is this bright star. She has more common sense than the lot of them.Taylor played by Mabel Rogers is the kind of brilliant mind this team needs even if she's like 12 years old. She saves the day at least twice in s2e5 with quick thinking and selfless bravery.

Hopefully she'll be back in series3.

Season 2 is currently running in the UK. ITV1 Saturday 7.10 to 8.10 pm. I watched season one because I have friends in the cast (supporting roles, not the main ones). It's quite fun if there is nothing else going on at the time.

Hi Malchik, it must be cool to se your friends on TV.
I was a bit hard on the writers. They probably have good reasons for how they build the characters.
