A great set of dancer animations came from the mod dancertest. As part of a collection of mods I am putting together with the purpose of making the game entirely gothic in feel, I want to use this animation on npcs in various places.

Now, my experience personally editing anything is null. Mostly I just play with other peoples stuff for my own entertainment, only getting into the editor to make very superficial changes occasionally.

That all said, I need 20 of these dance instructions books, either from the beginning of a new game or using the console in game to accomplish that goal.

For the life of me, I can't figure out which object id code is assigned to the book. I have tried like 4 different ones I have found in various places but obviously I am not just looking in the wrong places, I am apparently blind to where the right place is.

SO, for no other reason then assisting me with a pet project and my only personal sanity, whats the best way to either find the code so I can simply summon in game duplicates and place them manually, or, modify the original dancertest.esp so that when the original book spawns it spawns like 20...or something else I haven't thought of. This is an object created by the dancertest.esp, so I guess its a matter of finding the right code in the editor...I just don't know which one it is or how to find it.

If it was just the book, I would just keep banging my head against the wall until I broke through, because well, dancing is pretty down the priority scale in terms of the mods and the changes I am making. But having only been at this for a week or so, I would guess I am going to run into this issue again.

Thanks for any help someone might be able to provide.

Since posting this I managed to figure out the use of the duplicate button. As I go through the process of learning this stuff and this editor I am finding that the interface is not all that intuitive...but it is rewarding to see something actually get done. Even something so small as duplicating a book 20 times.

that said, delete topic if wanted...or leave it so I can get a bunch of "you newb!" posts. lol

Stick it in a container, target the container in the console, and enter "DuplicateAllItems player" as many times as you need copies.

EDIT: Oh, thought you meant in-game.
