my experiences in morrowind have generally been pleasant- there was one time when I decided not to use the map at all- and everything was okay for a while - but then one day when plundering some underground watery caves I kept going round and round and just couldn't get out- every door seemed as it would lead to the exit- but not... after a lot of swearing at the designers I had to resort to the map- which spoiled the immersion and I did not play for a few days...
there was also this escort mission where the damsel in distress was so slow that I was tempted to kill her many times- it was around the red mountain and she kept getting lost and there was this dust storm- so I had a tough time finding her- just when I had lost it, some super baddies attacked me and I happened to tap her with my absorb health sword in the melee... (this was really a happy ending)

every time i started a new game, i always picked up those scrolls of fortify acrobatics 500 or whatever from that dead fool with the funky hat's body.
and every time i left, my little brother would use one, and end up killing me.
angry angry angry.
AND!
when i started breaking swords every time i hit something because my strength was too high

The fact that the AI pathfinding was useless, the fact that you didn't regenerate Magicka, the fact that you couldn't hit a small rat with big-a$$ hammer just because your skill level was too low, AND...... the fact that Cliff Racers always bothered you, not matter WHERE you were.

I found escort missions the most annoying, here I was, cruising along with my boots of blinding speed, at 300 speed, and I've got this person I have to protect, going at 30. Running of to get themselves lost every time a creature popped up.

Anywhere, except the Grazelands. I not once encountered a cliff racer in the Grazelands.

Same thing here. It seems like no matter how early I take on escort missions (with Speed being a low stat), it seems like the person I have to escort is still painfully slow. The only thing more aggravating than the slowness is when you out run the person slightly and then they start running in a random direction.
Most of the other things that annoyed me have been fixed via mods.

For me, it was the way some legendary items are boots or helms, and when your an argonian, you can't were those items.

Oh I just

The Ten Pace Boots - BethSoft didn't create these boots right, as they're always invisible when I go to put them on

That is something that is both stupid and annoying at the same time. Fortunately, someone created a mod to fix it (for those unaware of such a mod).

the "psychic" guards... even when the NPC's died w/o making a sound or calling for help, as soon as you set foot outside (in a city), the guards would come after you right away... luckily they made a fix for this (I think...

Also, how the command spells that are taught to you by the telvanni take a conjuration skill of 80 just to have the slightest chance to cast them.

i like everyone else out there despised cliff racers lol, id lead a massive genocide against them if i could. Also when my game would crash saying my disc was dirty when it didnt have a single scratch on it. Also when u swung an enchanted weapon and it had no charge left.

I never really got angry in Morrowind, except with Cliff Racers. But, the thing I really hated was the thunder storms. It's late at night, I have the music turned down and the volume way up so I could hear the sounds of animals around me and then BOOM!, followed by me damned near falling out of my chair and saying 'holy crap, I'm deaf!'.

Oh yeah, do I hate them or what ... there are at least 10 cliff racers in morrowind watching you at ANY given time. They drive me crazy ...
And NPC stupidity ... they ALWAYS get stuck somewhere when they're following you.

I was younger(duh) when I played Morrowind so usually when something weird happened I just imagined something rational(or not rational xP) had happened

Too bad I can't do that anymore ^^
But like for lot of us, those cliff racers were kind of an annoyance. Else than that, the game was always pleasant, even though you had to comb the entire 10x10 zone area for some item/guy/cave/anything for a quest, kinda miss those times honestly >.<

At least the cliff racers I can kill
Something that annoyed me more was the snowstorms in Solstheim. Couldn't see a thing and they lasted forever!
Also stupid NPCs that got stuck

The many times I was attacked by Cliff Racers right after emerging from a cave full of Corprus Stalkers and Ash Slaves.
Also, the times when the game would shut down on me right after a accomplished something important. More likely than not, I hadn't saved for several hours.
