how do i install mods that arent .rar or .zip the 7z kind i rely want the hashshanin or howeva u spel it mod but i cant cos its a 7z file plz help i giv kudos 2 whoeva tells me plz

download a program called WinRAR, it handles all those kinds of zip type files.

p.s 7z files are a zip file, its a rare one though.

i hav the zip thing and rar thing but like a actual 7z file it ses add to archive i do that but inside the .rar or .zip file its just that wtf

try right clickin on the file and pressing Extract Here, if you have the version that has that, it works pretty good.

it only comes up with compress and email and add to archive ive tried add to arvive but dont do anythin wen i exract to the data files

Well I have version 3.60 and i get an Extract here thing, et me checkl my settings if its somethin like that.

winrar is for .rar files and it is not free

winzip is for .zip files and it is not free

7-Zip File Manager is for 7z files and it is free

it also opens most rar and zip files and is used a lot by modders
because of its high file compression rates.

People think winrar is free because after the trial expires, it never stops working. In fact, unless you left-click a .rar file, winrar will never even tell you that it has expired. If like most people, you always right-click and select 'extract' you will never know when it is time to stop the trial and pay for the program.

Winrar isn't just for .rar files BTW. It can open zip, 7z, and others as well.

EDIT by LHammonds (Moderator): Do not discuss how to circumvent WinRAR's trial period. Just like Winzip, it is not freeware. 7-Zip is completely free and legal to install on any PC (business or home).

But Winrar can't open all 7z files- it doesn't support high enough compression. Silgrad Tower, for example, uses 7z, and their files can only be opened using 7-zip, because none of the others ones support as high a compression level as 7-zip. So, overall, 7-zip would be the best choice.

Hello! Can anyone please tell how can I use cyrillic fonts (russian language, if to say it directly) at the site? I translate mods into russian and sometimes need to write smth what shall understand also a person not knowing English. Is there a special taq or should I use any specific fonts?

At the forum I can use font as above and my comment is readable; but at the site it doesn't work for unknown reason.
