for oscuros oblivion overhaul download, when the self-extracting archive window comes up, do i extract to my data folder?

i did this last time, and it just ignored it. i finally got the patience to wait for the ten minute download again, i wanna make sure i do it right this time.

also, i havent been able to download any other mods, or at least the last few ive tried. i extract to data folder and when i open up the files section in the main menu of oblivion, its not there.

is there some kind of limit to amount of mods on your game? i have about four mods going, plus shivering isles and knights of the nine.

Folks around here have said they are running as many as 150+ Mods but I think it depends entirely of what kind of computer system you have.

If the mods are not showing up in the Oblivion loader it's probably not been installed correctly. No Offence smile.gif

Next, we need to get this moved to the right place on the forum, and then we can get down to how to fix the problem.

So standby for the jump…

If you get lost just go up to "My Assistant" and hit "My last 10 posts," you should be able to find your post there

OOO is in a .7z file format. You need to extract it. That means an extra step. If you go to your data folder, you'll find it sitting there. If you have something that can extract .7z files, then just click it and it'll extract itself into the right place. Then, it'll work just fine. If you can't extract .7z, there are plenty of programs that'll do it. Also, if you have Vista, tell me; you'll need another step in there, too.
