If you could choose a constant effect to your character, then wich one would you choose? Levitateing, Water Walking, Swift Swimming, etc.? I`ll choose Water Waliking or then Levitateing. The one of my hated things is swimming and then of course Slaughterfishs too. :halloween:

id have to go with swift swim, before i had to begin a new character, since bloodmoon began to run too slow on my computer, i used a uncap mod, my athletics was 142, and i could swim pretty fast!

I have a feeling this is very like another thread but well, it's the New Year. Limit it to one constant effect only and it can continue.
So your character throughout the game may have only one constant effect enchantment!
I'd choose water breathing for Morrowind but I'd want to change it to levitate in Tribunal and Bloodmoon (to avoid all those Spriggans and Rickling Riders).
Damn! Was that cheating my own rule? Oh phooey!

I'm not sure if we are discussing a CE item or a CE ability that the character always has. If the former, I would choose water walking because that is the effect I use the most. Yes, levitate is probably more useful, but I dislike using it unless I have to. If the latter, I'd say water breathing. I would hate to have CE levitate or waterwalking on me at all times.

I would favour a CE 500+ luck, just to see what kind of effect it would have!

well methinks it makes your luck always +500, lol
but of course you are going to have better things from dwellings, ruins etc....

Even with a constant effect enchantment on an equipped item, the effect would be negated as soon as the PC enters Mournhold. Same thing with a Levitation ability. It works under Mournhold, in the sewers and ruins.

you mean like if it was one that was enchanted to an item? Then I would definitely go with levitate.
or do you mean CE and unremovable? (except with console) In that case I would just go with water breathing as it won't cause conflicts of slow speed or the inability to travel to underwater caves/dungeons.

Hey... they really need to make like.. Morrowind Online or.. Morrowind Live. That would be way cool

Water breathing never hampers movement or restricts passage in the game. CF is different than an ability in that it is only applied when the item enchanted with it is worn. An ability, on the other hand, is always affecting the character, and cannot be removed, except by console.

No way! That would go against The Elder Scrolls legacy, dude. Besides, just imagine how many minutes you would spend downloading the mods off of servers that probably all use different sets of 10's or 100's of plugins.

the elder scrolls dose not belong among online games, it would destroy its realism, seeing thousands of pcs running around killing things..... it would be compleately rediculous.
