One of the things I love about Elder Scrolls is the open-endedness. It's similar to D&D in that respect. I has its own lore, but it still allows room for the content of its players.

This said, one of the things I love about Warhammer 40,000 and Battle Fantasy is the forces of Chaos. Chaos philosophy, Chaos warriors, Beastmen, Skaven, all of it. I think the whole thing is brilliant. Particularly the Chaos Gods. The depth in the Chaos Gods has interested ever since I got into modern fantasy.

While I like writing lore, making concept art, and the like, I'm far from tech-saavy. In fact, I'm not even in the same ZIP code as tech-saavy. However I have some ideas for fellow Warhammer fans and computer-lovers that could help me incorporate Chaos into Oblivion.

1) A map seperate from Oblivion, essentially a different game within Oblivion. I could have the same shape as Cyrodiil but it would be divided in half. One half would be dedicated to the Tzeetch vs. Nurgle conflict, the other half would be dedicated to the Khorne vs. Slaanesh conflict. This could be easier since we could use the same map as Cyrodiil, though it would require lots of new models.

2) A Chaos Cult inside of the Empire. Each different chapter hall would be dedicated to a different Chaos God, then in the Imperial City there would be a secret Undivided temple. It would be treated like any other guild and at the end you would become the "Everchosen", the Cult's guildmaster rank.

3) The simplest of the suggestions: four shrines dedicated to the Chaos Gods that you could do quests at like the Daedric ones. From each you would get several quests giving you armor, weapons, and items related to that Chaos God.

do you have any idea what you jsut suggested..... you suggested a warhammer Total Conversion Mod. TCM's are the hardest mods you could EVER ask someone to make. Good idea, but not exactly the most possible thing

*Points to name*

Are you expecting realism from a Sheogorath fan? tongue.gif

Thank you, though.

Possible, but not practical.

and as a Sheogorath fan, you'll understand if I say:

Yes, I'm quite fluent in High Illogic.

This is however why I posted several suggestions.

Not long ago, there was a guy here looking to get a suit of armor modeled on that of the Chaos Legion. He posted pictures of what he wanted and even did his own searches that found that most of the textures and meshes already existed as parts of other mods, they just needed to be put together and in some cases recolored. Based on that request and the results it yielded, I think it is safe to say that this request will never be fulfilled.
