Today is the last day of 2007 and this is normally the time when people look back and reflect on the past year's events.
Obviously the biggest event this year for this site was the change from TESSource to TESNexus that all stemmed from some business decisions I decided to make. Looking back I am happy with how things have turned out; I much prefer this site and I much prefer only answering to myself. TESNexus, to me, is a far superior site to TESSource and I'm glad that many people also agree with me.
This holiday season has seen TESNexus receive its largest traffic numbers since it was launched at the end of September, and the largest traffic numbers the site has seen in all its iterations since the first few months after Oblivion was launched. Yesterday was the highest day for unique visitors to the site for over a year, breaking the 40,000 unique visitors mark. I not only take this as a testament to the success of the site, but to the success of the Elder Scrolls games, their replay value, and their community. It amazes me to think that Oblivion is under four months away from its two year anniversary.
I look forward to what 2008 brings. There are lots of new features I have planned for this site and I look forward to some big mods hitting the community soon. Similarly we will hopefully see the release of Fallout 3 from Bethesda, and perhaps an announcement of a new MMO that could well be an Elder Scrolls MMO from Bethesda.
Happy new year.

Happy New Year to the entire TESNexus community! Have fun and don't get too drunk... that might have some unwanted results

Oh, I hope not. If TES V is an MMO, people are going to die...
In any event, Happy New Year!
(Maybe the new domain is all apart of an elaborate April Fool's Day joke...

better hope that Elder Scrolls V is a RPG not MMO, and that if that TES V is a MMO i might as well end up begging people to get undetected mods to hack that game...if its RPG id be happy to wait for the new cheat mods =P
*makes wish for Royal Ancient Daedric Armor in both TES IV and V if i ever get Dremora Lord type for Dremora race*

Good god I hope the next TES isn't an MMO. Like many games, Oblivion is fun because there AREN'T other people. It would ruin the game to make it online.
Oh, and Happy New Year! I didn't get super smashed myself, but my best friend partied a bit hard. Too bad too, I was having a lot of fun until we had to go. I wish you all the best.

Hello guys, and a happy new year for you all, especially for BIG fans of the elder scrolls, like me!
Concerning the subject of TES V being a MMO, I sincerely hope it's not! I'll prey to all gods that might hear me not to let this fantastic series become online! If it happens, I'll loose all my faith on bethesda, and I say I have much!
TES is fun because of it's single experience, besides it's great quality, of course. If it became online, it would be a piece of crap.
Time will give us the answer... I hope it's the right answer.

A happy new year to all of you. I hope you still got your fingers? They can be quite useful to have on a forum

(And let's not turn this into a TES MMO debate... too much.

I doubt it would be much a debate. Most of the people I've seen despise the thought of an MMO TES sequel.

im really dreading that TES MMO...i wanna to get RPG, if its MMO bah i cant be bothered paying out these damn bills and horrible waste of GB space on my poor precious computer AND not to mention though that thered be hackers who would just spam ppl and get fake bots that would cripple the servers seriously so i prefer its RPG not MMO

'Tis the Dawn Of 2008! Happy New year Everyone!
And About the MMO thing. God I Hope Not! But If they Just HAVE To Put Online In though, I'd Say Just put A Co-op. Although Hopefully It Won't Be either.

Make sure you're using thenexusforums.com rather than forum.gamingsource.net. Not sure if GamingSource is redirecting to the domain you mentioned, as I disabled scripts for it after the move.
