I began playing Morrowind again recently after an Oblivion spree, quickly realising that my FPS topped out at 30ish. Now, I regularly get better in Oblivion, with QT3, admittedly I have added a few texture packs to Morrowind, for NPCs, Creatures and Landscape. Mainly Ultimate Textures 3, I think, but certainly nothing that my Graphics Card couldn't handle with ease. If I remember correctly MW is very CPU intensive, could that be my problem?

My System:
CPU: P4 2.80GHz @ 3.2GHz
GPU: 7600GT AGP 8x
RAM: 2GB
1280x1024

I have done all the cleaning up procedures that I can think of, and taht I regularly do after un/installing programs.

In Morrowind.ini, what is "Max FPS" set to? (should be near the top of the file)

The Max FPS is at 240, the default. I was considering going through and tweaking the ini, to see if that made any difference, and also looking for any new and improvd performance enhancers. Sorry for the late reply, I went to bed after I posted it.

And maybe Realistic Colour Config. It's said to improve performance as well.
