I've made a few minor tweaks to the site this evening. The first is the introduction of small icons next to updated files in the
updates today log. You can now see what aspects of a file entry the author has updated by looking at the icons next to the file name. This feature has been requested for quite some time and was one of the reasons the action log system was coded. If there's enough demand I could probably code in some filtering options so you can choose what sort of updates (only new files, only new images, etc.) you see. This all leads towards a future feature for
premium members to receive daily updates on files via email.
Other minor changes include a fix for authors who like to sort their mods by last comment, which will now log comments left with ratings as well. Lastly I've added a htaccess redirect for people who are still using the tessource.net and tesdb.com domains -- it seems people were trying to login using these domains and wondering why the login wasn't working/cookie wasn't setting. These domains now redirect to the tesnexus.com equivalent. Hopefully there'll be less login failures now.

Brilliant addition DarkOne. I'm sure i wasn't the only one who asked for this but its comforting to know that on this site suggestions and ideas often are made reality. Its a really useful key and doesn't add any unwanted clutter.
Is it too early to ask for more? well, here goes anyway..
Two icons i'd find incredibly useful would be ones that identifiy Oblivion and Morrowind mods so i can go straight to the game i'm looking for. Hope that appears at some stage.
But for now thanks for adding these icons. I'm sure all will agree.

Indeed! That way I can skip the ones with the user-uploaded images updates. Thanks

Great feature!
(Please don't hit me, but...)
Will this be added to the Updates recently page too? I always check this page for the previous day's additions, since if I use Updates today, I'll miss changes that get made after I've shut my PC down for the night.

I like the icons-- but I would request that one be added.
A Morrowind or Oblivion icon to indicate which game the mod is for.
Cannot count how many times I have gone to the description page of an interestingly-titled mod, only to discover that it was for the "wrong" game-- meaning the one I'm not playing/collecting mods for/focussing on at the moment, since I do own both. I would be really annoyed by this, if I didn't, say, also own and play the "other" game (whichever one that may be this month).
I really appreciate your continuing efforts to give me an "at a glance" overview on the "updates today" page, without forcing me to go to description pages that I don't want to; this (which game?) is really the only piece of information still missing that sadly causes this aspiration to fail fairly often for me.

I like the Morrowind/Oblivion icon idea and I must agree with Vorians about adding icons to the Updates recently page.
Adding a filter is a great idea BTW.

I like the new changes to the updates log, unfortunately your changes did cause the "Updates Recently" webpage to display the log for the 28th November to be empty of details. Aside from that bug, the rest of the "Updates" section seems to work okay so far.

The beautiful little icons in the files update list are a very definitive answer to the problem of update ambiguity. Now it is quite simple to see what has been done to a file without waisting precious sight bandwidth opening every modified entry.
Bravo!

Cool, you added icons to the mods that require OB or MW. Great job!

The icons are a very COOL addition that allows me to know what to look for before I even view the mod's page! Very clever. Having the same functionality on the "Updates recently" page would also be a handy addition.
Thanks,
