On another site it is "rumoured" that Caius (soz if i spelt his name wrong  ) is the Emporer and that is why he never leaves his house in Balmora when he says "I'll have to discuss this with the Emporer" (which is a point huh.gif ) I havent completed the main quest so i have no idea im only up to the first Vivec mission! :whistling:
ShinJiOh
well, all im allowed to say is keep going that way you find out what happens in the story if anything at all ph34r.gif
Xionith
Well, I dont know the answer to your question, but nobody will ever leave there house or 'area' in the game, except on occasions like escort missions. Its just the way MW is. smile.gif
ShinJiOh
Are you so sure... xionith?
DreamOfTheRood
I've never heard this theory before, but it strikes my bizarre interests in just the right way. If you follow the main quest, you'll find out what happens to Caius, but there's nothing there about Caius being the Emperor. However, I like this theory just enough that I'm going to work it into my non-encyclopedic knowledge of Morrowind.

ph34r.gif That's awesome, and by awesome I mean totally sweet.

Caius is the Spymaster of the Blades, the Emporer's eyes and ears in Morrowind. Caius is recalled to the Imperial City mid-game for political reasons, not to go home. The current emporer is the sickly Uriel Septim.

you are correct, in fact, if you begin to ask the guy in the cencise and exus office, before you are a free man, he actually tells you that uriel septium is the emporer, and so do various other NPC's, so, whoever made the rumor up, is only after some attention.

Thank you. That completely repeated what I said in a different manner. :halloween: :spam: :halloween:
ShinJiOh
wait a minute, Precursor kid could have mean't caius is Uriel incognito

i doubt it tho
cmac
Just to make it blindingly clear to everyone: CAIUS COSADES IS NOT URIEL SEPTIM. Someone lock this before people start accusing Dagoth Ur of being Michael Jackson incognito.
wesaynothin
Well, you know, Dagoth Ur and Maicheal JAckson have the same voice...

hmm.... :shifty:

lol
cmac
Well, it depends on the day-- wether Michael is a male or female that day.
Curt Sibling
Caius is there as the Emperor's eyes.

The 6th House And Ur only worry about the big enemies from their perspective,
those rivals for power in MW being the Tribunal, the Emperor and the Daedra.

In this game of chess between Tamriel's major powers,
Caius and the player are the Septim's very special pieces...

Curt Sibling, the quote above is what I posted a few days ago. You repeated it almost exactly, contributing nothing to the thread discussion.

And the Emporer, apart from finding you to fit the descriptions of the possible savior of one of his provinces, has nothing to do with the fall of Dagoth Ur. He merely frees you. The 'chess board' would have Dagoth Ur on one side, and the PC on the other. The Emporer does not manipluate the PC whatsoever.

The Daedra, Tribunal, and Emporer are not competing for power. Nothing like it.

This thread is going round in ever decreasing circles. So it vanishes and we all know where!
