Forum member Abramul suggested creating a section of the site for the top contributers in
my recent post regarding the "Gotta screencap them all!" mod competition. While a bit different from his idea, I have create a
top contributers page on the site to list the members who are most active and adding the most content to the site. Current top lists include; top file uploaders, top file commentors, top file taggers, top file image uploaders, top image share uploaders and top forum posters.
This new section is a precursor to further social development of TES Nexus, including a member page on the site that will provide people with handy links to all the user's uploaded files, forum posts/file comments and uploaded images as well as the welcome return of the kudos system.
Also a few members have brought to my attention a problem with the recent updates page which has stopped updates being listed for this last weekend. I have fixed the problem in the script but unfortunately the log of the changes for this weekend has been lost. Sorry about that!

Lol wow, I'm actually 5th with 45 images uploaded? ... I knew I should have been trying

long way from six hundred-something but I only did the few mods I thought really needed pics

Is it just me, or is the user submitted images linking to the same thumb instead of the full image? Author images seem to be fine

Just a note: the section doesn't display properly in Firefox with the Adblock Plus extension enabled (Easylist filter).

Only concern would be if somebody seeking their name in lights submitted as many posts/images as they could, whatever their quality or relevance to move up the list. A league table of file comments seems like a possible green light to "crap' or "wow!' comments. Its only these two catagories that i can see potential problems with. Tables for file uploads is a good thing.
Sorry to sound like a wet weekend but i'd hate to see the quality of the site's content suffer. Quantity koudos just worries me. Hopefully i'll be proved wrong. As usual.

I have images of almost every item I ever downloaded from TESS or anywhere else for that matter. Most are high quality and good sized. I didn't notice that the public could upload images until a couple nights ago. Since I had so many images, I felt I should email them to someone to upload. I'm very grateful for this opportunity to help.
My problem has been that I did make a few mistakes in my uploaded images. One set of five failed and left red x's .. then I named 4 the wrong name and I uploaded the same image a couple times. I wish I could edit those and remove them, but I don't see a way. Thanks for letting us help out with making the mods more user friendly.

I also wish that there was a way to edit uploads, as I've made a few mistakes as well. I have been trying to upload images of high quality, and I certainly hope that others do the same. The competition is not the purpose of this; it is an effort to enhance the worth of TES Nexes to the modding community.

That's how I feel about it. I personally want images on every file! So often the mod looks interesting but I just really NEED to see a little of what it has to offer.
Most of my images are original to the files I am putting them into. I am not one to take many screenshots and I have kept an archive of all the mods I have found interesting, along with readmes and images. I have quite a few that aren't on the site here, mostly houses.

I suppose it should be noted that thumbnails, though better than nothing, are not particularly useful.

That's very true. I'm afraid lots of mine are way big... was worried about how much space they take and dl times for them.. but that's how I like them to be... sorry if they are too big on some computers or slow loading.

I'm the second highest tagging contributor? Ohhh.
I need to stop procrastinating and do some proper study.

Indeed. I had no idea I suggested over 1000 tags. I don't even remember doing so.

Wow... I am the top upload contributor!
Now if only I could find those images for my Morrowind mods...

Don't worry morsepone! I'll get around to them eventually.
