My guy(hehehe)

General characteristics

The predator, or Yautja, are a hunting race from the furtherest reaches of the universe. They live for the thrill of the hunt, for the males anyway. Male Yautja stand an average of 250 cms, weigh about 200 pounds, whereas females tend more to the 300 cm mark and weigh a lot more too. The males only hunt, and the females generally stay at home. Yautja usually live for around 350 years, with dominant and strong yautja tend to live longer. Their hair is braided into thick strands, and it continues to grow this way afterwards. It is a long and painfull process, with any tiny wince of pain and the whole process is restarted. Yautja skin is usually about 1 to 2 cms thick, and their skull is a massive 3 to 4 cms thick, making headbutting quite a deadly weapon. Their masks or helmets are all personally individualised, making no two look the same.

Hunts

Hunting trips usually vary in size from about 8 members up to about 90 members. There are many type of hunts, Blooding hunts, Human hunts, Queen hunts, 'huge' hunts and many more. All have very strict rites and rules, no un-blooded is to hunt humans, and a queen hunt isn't 'scored' for purposes of kills etc. On a hunt, there is always one leader, or elder, and several other blooded yautja. On a blooding hunt, usually one quarter of the members are blooded, all are blooded on human hunts and about one third are on both queen hunts and 'huge' hunts. There are many positions on a hunt, with the most honourable being up the front, least to the back. Queen hunts are especially different to other hunts, because their strict objective is to get a queen unharmed into their ship, to 'seed' another planet for hunting. Each blooded yautja takes part of the queen, bound by dlex, (A rope-like material stronger than diamond), while the leader cuts her off her egg sac. The unblooded provide cover as the other yautja move the queen to their ship.

Blooding

Blooding is a ritual that dates back to the very early days of yautja history. It involves the leader of a hunting party taking the finger of a young Yautja's first honourable kill, when they show they are good enough to join the yautja elite. The leader puts his mark between the eyes of the student. Afterwards the yautja is held in high regard and is allowed to hunt humans.

Hunting Rituals

There are several universal rules of a hunt; they are as follows. (But not all listed due to lack of knowledge.)

1.Check your target before firing. Shooting a fellow hunter is at the height of bad manners.
2. No Unblooded is allowed to hunt Pyode Amedha. The penalty is death.
3. No yautja is to murder another yautja unless conditions apply. The penalty is also death.
4. Dishonourable kills are not scored.
5. During a queen hunt, if a yautja's postion is lost, that postion is not to be taken unless under order.
6. Do not interfere with someone else's fight or kill. Penalty is rank deduction.
7. All yautja must obey the highest in command.

Society

The yautja society is made up of different classifications, including blooded and un-blooded. Their caste includes:
(All these figures are obviously estimates)

Unblooded - About 35% of male yautja are unblooded.
Blooded - About 25% of male yautja are blooded.
Retirees - About 25% of male yautja are retirees, yautja who have fought their time and now are too old and honoured to hunt. Females come under this section.

Adjudicators- The adjudicators are the admin and law yautja. These are often seen as 'not real yautja'. They include huntmasters and world leaders. About 13% of Yautja are adjudiucators.

Bad Bloods- These are the criminal yautja whom have been sentenced to death and escaped. Their justice system shows that crime is very low. About 2% of yautja are bad bloods.

my bio

Yeyinde was known also by his nickname, Dachande - "Broken Tusk", refering to his left lower tusk, broken in a bare-handed fist against an Alien queen. He was the son and grandson of ship leaders and warrior trainers. He bowed to no one in his skill with blade or burner. His training focused on blade and simple unarmed combat. Philosophy was not his bent.
He has never hunted humans, though his trophy wall on the homeworld held six Alien skulls, bleached and clean, including the Queen he had killed with his bare hands (and so got his nickname), taken in a hunt in which nine already-blooded warriors had died.
He had sired 73 suckers since becoming Blooded.
His pre-warrior days; he thought he had known everything, was the bravest Yautja ever born and ready to prove it at the slightest provocation. One instance, a younger male had glanced at him with what Yeyinde thought an inappropriate demeanor, had allowed that gaze to linger a quarter second longer than he deemed respectful. He stepped foreward to issue a claw-challenge, but a female knocked him sprawling while going about her business. by the time he had recovered, both the female and the insolent youth were gone.
At his Blooding, his Leader was 'A'ni-de. He was hunting with his brother, Nei'hman'de. Yeyinde had killed two Aliens, but his brother was killed.

more info

Ranks:

ETA: The untouchables of the Yautja. Mostly they are the lame or the crippled, who are unable (or too cowardly) to join the hunt. Instead, they serve as slaves and do menial jobs for the hunters. They are ridiculed and humiliated on a daily basis by the other Yautja.

UNBLOODED: Young Yautja who are trained the skills necessary for their adult hunting. They will move to the next rank after their first hunt. Death challenges were forbidden. They can only issue claw-challenges. Also, hunting pyode amedha was forbidden. They represent about 40% at any one time.

YOUNG BLOODS: Recently blooded Yautja. They are young, reckless, full of ambition and feel full of pride once they have collected the skull of their kill, which amuses the more experienced hunters. About 30% of Yautja at any one time are considered "Young Blood."

BLOODED: The only difference between the BLOODED and the YOUNG BLOODS is that the BLOODED have more experienced but still not classed high among the great hunters. This represents 20% of the Yautja population.

WARRIORS: Violent, respected, solo hunters with high Yautja technology. They travel the Universe to find honorable hunting.

HONORED: The Elite of Yautja society. They have earned more kills than the average hunter and are skilled in all ways. They comprise approximately 10% of the populace.

ANCIENTS/ELDERS: The greatest Yautja that have ever lived, they have survived a thousand hunts. They have hunted so much that they look for other means of sport. Consequently, they are more compassionate and disciplined than most other Yautja. Many have learned new fighting techniques over the ages. For example, one "Ancient" who had hunted in 16th century Japan learned "Hira Baraki," or two-sword combat, continues to use it today, and has two custom swords. These represent less than 1% of the entire population.

ARBITRATORS: Yautja police that mainly consist of ANCIENTS who are bored with the Hunt. They represent judge, jury, and executioner. There are no appeals to their decisions.

BAD BLOODS: The criminal caste. These are usually serious nutcases even when compared to your average Yautja. Many have committed crimes such as murder of another Yautja, killing prey that is not game or failing in the hunt. The "Arbitrators" are constantly tracking these. About 5% of all Yautja are "Bad Bloods," and in the above castes, the number of these criminals has been added to the total amount.
