g'day all,

i soon will be moving on from my beloved 17" crt monitor to a 19 or 20" lcd and am looking to beef up my gpu along with it.....
my question to those in the know is which card is the best suited to that size monitor? my system as it stands is:
AMD athlon X2 6000+
GA-M55SLI-S4 (rev.2) mobo
2 gigs kingston RAM
gigabyte 8600gt
550w coolermaster extreme power psu

i dont really like first person shooters much, mostly strategy games and roleplaying games and grand theft auto type things,
but would like a bit of headroom on the next card to be safe.
any help would be appreciated guys and girlsthanks

Stick with your curren card for now, unless you're Really itching to spend another four or five hundred bucks. Or eight if you really want to go all the way...

so you dont think the 8600gt will suffer under the higher resolutions in oblivion and things? i can live without grass, but not without anti-aliasing
