Alright, well I've decided to make a Vampire character, and she will be in Thomas' Siege story. But I need some advice, should I create an entirely new character, or should I write a little backstory explaining how Augusta became a Vampire?

But fear not, I would never ruin other people's fun by making her hurt anyone else. Unless you give me a reason to midbehave, I won't. You'll see what I mean when we get into the story.
Alright so short answer would be yes and no, but not evil in a way that will affect you or any of the other players.

The point of making this character was to spice things up a bit, since everyone one was making good characters I thought hmm......noones made a Vampire yet! I just thought that it would be interesting to see how you all interact with her and so forth. Call it a socialogical experiment.

She is skilled in all weaponry and lore, from ages of training and study.
Her eyes are entirely silver save for the iris, which is a deep blood-red. Her skin is paled sheet-white, and her hair is a dark ebony black. However none of her features are distunguishable, as she wears a black hooded robe and cloak. Beneath the hood she has a silver mask of a woman's face shedding a single tear. This mask is worn when dealing with day-walkers or "non-Vampires".

Brief Description: Laraine was blooded to the Aundae. Through their ritualistic allowances of only born Vampires, she was condemned by them. Embraced in the useless existance of a neverending darkness, Laraine journeyed far and wide from the wilds of Valenwood to the frosts of Skyrim, then returned to the Empire where her search for acceptance was brought to an end upon the discovery of the legendary Broken Ones, a reclusive monastic order of outcast Vampiric brethern.
Here she delved into history and abosorbed its knowledge for ages unknown. Not only did she learn vast expanses of literature and history, but her body was trained into a lethal weapon. Through various Martial Arts and techniques, both weapons and armor became obsolete to her.
The Order's training was cruel and brutal, and sculpted perfection upon it's disciples. Through the powers infused upon her by the Aundae blood, Laraine devised a technique of her own, to fuse the magicks within her soul to her body. This results in the elemental attacks of magick to be tied into her blows. Summoning, Augmenting, Sheilding, Draining, Consealing and Destroying, all things which a Mage is capable of, but doubled in deadly harmony with her body.
The Citadel of the Order was destroyed by a crusade of Holy Temple Witchhunters. Sole survivor of the onslaught, Laraine was tossed again into the chaos of the fates.
Years of suffering and solitude have made their toll on her mind no doubt. None live to remember that her existence too was once innocent.
Her name means Sorrow.
