Here it is! From the developer of TESSource comes a new Elder Scrolls site. Welcome to TES Nexus.It has been 9 days since TESSource went down. Why it went down is really in the past; a mixture of mistakes and business have lead us to this new beginning, and I've worked my hardest to make the experience of uploading and downloading Elder Scrolls files that much easier. For 8 days I have worked 9am - 9pm hours, custom coding this site from scratch, and there's lots more work to do yet!
TES Nexus is your TESSource replacement on steroids. TESSource was the result of 3 years of learning, a test bed of amateur and rookie coding that came out well. TES Nexus is what happens when I start from scratch, on the back of all the experience I had of coding TESSource. Completely new site code, completely new look. TES Nexus is faster, more secure and more efficient than TESSource was, and I am happy with the result.
So what has the site got? It has all the files TESSource had, along with all the information relating to the files. It has all the members, forum posts, file comments and ratings. So what is missing? It's missing images; file images, and the images from the image share database on TESSource. An unfortunate loss, but something easily rectified given time.
What you see today is the foundation of a developing site. Far from complete, this is only the beginning of the site. You might miss some of the features that were available on TESSource, but they shall be back soon; new, improved and updated, along with many new and unique features that were never available on TESSource.
Please enjoy the new site, but be patient and try to be constructive. Things are going to break, this is almost a certainty, so please be on your toes and get in contact with me should you come across any problems.
