Straight from the
Bethesda Blog, gstaff brings attention to a Ukrainian progressive rock band who have produced a cover of the Oblivion theme tune by Jeremy Soule. Personally I couldn't help but sit there giggling like a sissy girl through most of it (don't ask why), but check it out by going to their
MySpace page. The page is savoury and, for once, does not contain pink text on a black background -- probably a first for MySpaz.

beautiful music. 9/10 Actually it would deserve 10/10, but it just is'nt in the genre, maybe if bethesda ever makes a game around WW I, I would love it.
But still very good work

Wow, that's great, although in places it does remind me of Morrowind a bit.
Some of their other stuff is pretty good too...

My wife says "What in the hell are you blasting your ear drums with??"
I say "You don't recognize it?"
She says "......"
I say "It's my new start up theme song for Oblivion, it's the same song, just metalized."
She says "So this means I also go shopping when you play Oblivion now, not just when you decide to crank Judas Priest to earbleed levels?"
I say "Yep, here's my wallet."

Um.. wow, yes I rather like it. Reminds me of Yngwie Maumstein and several other metal bands of my misspent youth. Making the the title music for awhile. Won't the wife be surprised next time she loads up the game!
