As an Oblivion player are you interested in Bethesda's new game, Fallout 3?

If the graphics are even better then in Oblivion, surely. But It will cost much, so i'm not going to buy it directly. All good modders will go make modds for fallout 3 and that would be dissapointing.

I certainly plan on seeing how the quests play out. If they are all non-linear and hopefully not as implausible as the Megaton quest then I plan on buying TES 5. If they end up railroading you then I don't plan on purchasing TES 5.

Is Fallout 3 at all related to Wasteland (computer game)? Now that brings back memories. My first computer the Apple II: 128K of RAM and 1 floppy drive and a tape drive. LOL

Yup it is related and check the teaser Fallout 3 Teaser trailer. But you all saw that probably already. yea I'm interested.

How about the game itself?

I'm very interested. Bethesda is well suited to producing the kind of open exploration and gameplay that Fallout 1 and 2 had, and I'm sure the graphics will be beautiful. Where I am concerned is the content. Fallout dealt with some very adult topics such as drug addiction, genocide, same sex marriage, etc. and did it in a non-judgemental manner. You were allowed to decide for yourself what kind of character you wanted to play as. Bethesda has a tendency to sanitize itself, I understand the desire to want your game to be acceptable to everybody, but if you are doing a Fallout game, I hope you are shooting for an 18 + rating and not Teen.
