Hey I found this article (http://news.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=174622) and after reading it I wonder if Will Wright would change the intro scene of Spore (the one with the comet crashing into your planet, as seen on the Spore NYC'07 vid) if this was to be true to advoid any inaccuracies, and if you dont care about the Spore intro scene it is simply an interesting read anyway.

I still wouldn't mind the intro being the same. So long as it's entertaining and an effective introduction to the game I don't care if it's factually inaccurate.

I still think they should just go with the creationist opening. God comes down, creates everything as it is, as it was, as it always will be, in perfect balance. Then creates a species which throws the whole balance off, then dreams up this whole evolution thing, and creates a game which promotes that theory. This way, people would be playing a factually correct game in which they play the role of someone playing a game which has no basis for anything in reality. This way, no matter what people want to tell themselves, the game is factually accurate in that it's a game about a game about a supposed possibility of how life may have developed.
