I'm on vacation for a long time and I get modding abstinense and I didn't think of bringing the CD's so i could use TESCS on this PC mellow.gif

So is there a way I could get it here without buying the game again?

You see, I don't really need the CD's because I'm not going to play Morrowind, just make mods tongue.gif
So I thought maybe it would be possible for someone to send it to me on Hamachi? unsure.gif
(Hamachi is a program that gives LAN connection thru internet)

Any help or suggestions would be appriciated, but I know you will because the guys on theese forums are so kind and fast responding happy.gif
Cheers tongue.gif

No, getting someone to send you the game isn't going to happen. You might try seeing if any local game stores have a used copy of the game...picked my first copy up for $10 that way.

You might be able to find a small TC...look for one that starts from scratch (doesn't require any of Morrowind's art files). That would be sufficient to let you run the CS, I think.

Hmm I didn't really get that...

What is a TC?
Is that something that can be downloaded?
Use CS without the art files?
Is TC something that makes it possible to use CS without having the Morrowind game itself?

So can I download TC and CS or would i still have to buy it?
I have been looking on internet and I only found downloadable version of Oblivion's CS and I don't want that sad.gif

So I'm a bit confused. Could you explain more thoroughly? tongue.gif Thank you
Abramul
A TC is a Total Conversion, meaning a mod that entirely replaces the existing world. However, they may use meshes, textures, and sounds from Morrowind, and those would not be included, resulting in errors and ugliness.

I thought they had Morrowind's Construction Set available on the official site, but it appears not to be so. Someone else might know where to find it, or might be able to send you a copy of the necessary files.

Ah, I see. But then I wouldn't really be modding Morrowind, I would be modding the TC, and you couldn't play the mod with just regular Morrowind. Well thank you so much anyway. Atleast now I know what is possible and not. I guess I will just keep my eyes open for a cheap copy. tongue.gif

Oh, and thanks for the link hoots7. It has some tutorials on scripting and stuff that i need. happy.gif

angry.gif RAWR! angry.gif

Now I actually bought a totally new copy of the game for 20$

I installed it and everything, but CS ISN'T WORKING!! angry.gif

Everything seems to be OK, except that the render window is just empty glare.gif

I loaded a cell, and it was grey, so i double clicked an item in the cell view to center it, but still grey! ohmy.gif
I could see on the coordinates that i was moving though. I could zoom in and out and it showed on the coordinates. I tried with different interior and exterior cells and tried centering different objects. I reinstalled it, tried with and without Tribunal and Bloodmoon, but always grey.

And I'm 100% sure that it was not fog i saw, it was always the same, empty like grey and i knew the fog in the cells i loaded is another colour and centering an object should have fixed it.

So everything work except Render Window was grey. (Yes, it said the cell name on top of it.) I could even add objects to it, though I couldn't see them. It was like the render window was somehow not connected, like if the monitor is turned off you CAN still use the computer just not see what you are doing.

I have never seen anything like this before and it was really annoying when I bought a new copy just for modding theese few weeks tongue.gif Playing the game itself isn't as fun as modding happy.gif

So anyone know whats going on and hopefully how to fix it? happy.gif (This became longer than I had planned tongue.gif)

LOL! Nvm I figured it out tongue.gif

Seems the color quality on the PC was set to only 16 bits and both Morrowind and CS requires atleast 32 bits.

So now its working perfect an' I'm modding like crazy happy.gif
