Spore will be at SIGGRAPH 2007 on 9th August. Whether there will be any new details here I don't know - it sounds more like keynote speeches to other developers... aka, stuff that will go completely over the head of most of us! A number of Spore team members (including Chris Hecker and Ocean Quigley) will be talking about procedural texturing, creating four billion planets, the deformable building blocks that make up the editor, and incremental Halton sequences, whatever those are. Fun!
