These concoctions are terrible to me. I mean, yeah, we have the right to laugh at a celebritys misery,but in the words of Pete Wentz from Fall Out Boy(one of my idols)"The sad thing is we know more about Brad Pitt,then the war in Iraq". We are more concerned about Paris Hiltons little games than thousands of troops from USA and UK getting killed.

You're right. I don't like those mags either. Like you said: people should be more concerned about the war than about p. hilton's new outfits.

I'm not to fond of those magazines, but this time I'll defend it:

If all people in the world would only care about bad things, like war, starvation, and poverty, what would they be like? How many people don't you think would be depressed, and maybe even suicidal?
Sure, people need to know about what is happening down there, but not too much. Some people are quite sensitive, you know.

Oh, and another thing; how much aren't the media bending things? They don't show as much of the Iraq war now as before, because it's "yesterdays news", it doesn't sell as good.
So a reason to why people know more about Paris Hilton is because they aren't as interested in Iraq anymore.

THEY ARE STILL EVIL

Those magazines are all about the shallow lives of the hypocritical "celebrities." Whenever I see one, I'm disgusted that they are so rich and famous just because they look good enough to be put in movies. I even think that movie "stars" are way over paid. They get millions and millions of dollars for one movie while the majority of the people only get 20-30 thousand a year. I'm not against rich people, only the ones who didn't actually earn it. All actors and actresses do for a living is step in front of a camera, say a few lines, then go live in the lap of luxury. What about all the hard working people who slave for 8-10 hours a day for minimum wage. I despise actors and actresses. The only people I hate more are models. They don't even have to memorize anything. They just stand in front of the camera and get millions. They are rich because they happen to look good. Where's the equality in that?
In short, if I saw an actor, I wouldn't ask for his autograph; I'd punch him in the face. That's how much I hate them.

1.Its not there natural good looks.It is just makeup and hair extensions.They could spice up anyones looks and they turn beutifal.
2.I just wanted to know what people thought of these.Everyone has a different oppinion about it

Of course the world is unfair, did you think it would be nice and fluffy? Those people gain lots of money because they give alot of money to the publisher/photographer.
Another example of how unfair the world is, is to take a look at Swedens former prime minister; Göran Persson. When he retired he still got to keep his former salary. And that's alot too.
Life's unfair, get over it.

Gossip mags are for idiots who pay more attention to celebrities's lives than their own.
