Much to Dark0nes delight i have managed to get hold of a BF2142 beta key, 1000 were up for grabs earlier and for some reason they gave me one.

Hi all! Just back from hols, and I'm completely fooked off to find out still no 1.4 patch and servers seem to crash more than ever. I was going to buy 2142 (even had it on pre-order from Amazon), but I'm now canceling it, at least until they fix BF2!

Don’t get me wrong, I think BF2 is one of the best games ever, and I am(was) really excited about 2142, but unless they fix BF2 I'll end up throwing my laptop out the window in frustration.

BF2 and 2142 could be legendary games, if EA fixed the main bugs/crashes/glitches etc.

BIW was already in use but when you make a new account you can choose after that your ingame name
