I"m having a small problem with morrowind, in that I have two quests that involve Trebonius in the Vivec Mage Guild, but he's not there, and I can't find him anywhere. Does anyone know if he goes elsewhere or some way to find him? I didn't kill him or anything, and I know he used to be there cause I remember seeing him, but I can't get further along in the Mage's Guild if he's disappeared. That and it's kind of annoying...

Seems I solved it myself while looking around the forums here. If anyone else has this problem, it can be solved by typing:
placeatpc "name" 1,1,1
and his name is trebonius artorius.
I may rest easier now

You could also try typing RA in the console. NPCs can slowly get out of place inside interiors as you play and RA will reset them to their original positions.

Oddly enough, I tried the ra thing and it didn't work. I found out rather randomly that he was stuck in a wall in the mages guild somehow (i'm not sure how) because I was taking something out of a chest (which actually did belong to me), and got caught, and saw him running out of a wall. Since this seemed the only way to get him out, I decided to go with placing him at me, because I really don't want several high level mages trying to kill me at this point in time.

Lol ah. Yeah RA doesn't seem to work when they start to phase through walls/ceilings/floors etc. I REALLY wish they'd release a patch that made the game engine more stable.
