sad.gif Hi. I re-installed morrowind the other day after playing it perfectly for about a year. when i installed it and tried to run it, i got this message right after i clicked the shortcut.

DirectSound CreateSoundBuffer (Primary) Failed

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game 50 times, and the same thing keeps happening. I updated my sound card drivers. Nothing has worked. Please help

Have you run the Dirext X diagnostics, to see if there's a problem with Direct sound?

Yeah, run DXDiag and, if that doesn't work, try turning the hardware acceleration on your sound down or off.
