Am I the only one who notices that the mmorpg "Shadow of Angmar" looks suspiciously like a rip-off of the plot behind MEmod? Or is it just me...

Not to my knowledge. But I'm not surprised that someone would have snaked the plot-line. It wasn't protected in any way under copyright or patent, so it was fare game. It's still enfuriating to see it being made into a crapfest mmorpg where canon will be disregarded with contempt.

Maybe I'm just too much of a purist, idk. I saw it being advertised on the net or in a store somewhere and all I could do was look in utter disbelief.
