The first E.E.B.D (without poll) didn't work.
The new E.E.B.D. (with poll) doesn't either.`
When you reach que number 1 you get the message:
Extremely Extremely Beta Download Queue System
There are people in the download queue.
Please wait 10 seconds to find out your position in the queue...
Your download will automatically begin shortly.
Note: To stay in the queue you MUST leave this window open!
This stays on screen and never ever somithing happens.
Only the poll is being refreshed.

Hmm...
Using firefox here.
Somehow the queue system thinks I'm still dling 3 files at the same time.
In reality I've restarted my PC and am attempting to dl 1 file.
Yet I still get the message I have to wait for my other dls to finish...
Guess the Beta still needs work eh? I hope this helps out in fixing stuff.
Cheers!

Ok, I've added a link to that page that lets you remove yourself from the queue database. It can be found at
http://big.tessource.net/resetuser.php if you need a manual link.
Don't use it unless you're getting that error though, else it'll reset your position in the queue!

So far it's working rather well for me. I tend to d/l a batch of files at a time, and every once in a while there's a corrupted d/l. But, then I can d/l 20 files in a short amount of time and going back for one or two is no big deal.
I use Firefox and go through Hughes.net (satellite not cable).
Thanks a lot for a great site!

Hi there:
I am running through a 7 meg pipe and it seems your downloads never get beyond 45 kbps. I did a speedtest and my downloads show 6784 and i did click on 8meg or lower connection speed on your cue program so i know it aint on my end. Just wanted to let you know in case you are having issues.
thanx for your site!

Hi Necrophis,
I'm afraid that the speed you're getting is what the server can handle. The poll to the right of the download queue was for me to work out whether a dial-up users queue was necessary! After it showed that a good proportion of people were still dial-up users I implemented a second queue for them.

Lots of problems.... sigh..... It resets the queue evert few seconds started at 43 then to 50 then 48 then back to 50......
Problems with popup blockers, My Norton dislikes your queue system

I waited for 5 min while it just bounced me around the queue and then came back with a mssg "site not found, try refreshing browser... you know the white screen of search engine death....
I understand your problem but dont have the time to play my games and your queue system, please fix or remove as soon as possible... till then I'm off to other mirror sites.
EDIT: Side note::::::: CHECK FOR VIRUS!!!!!!!!! got a (Hacktool.IE Exploit) warning from my Norton when I closed your queue... dont know if it's you but I'll look at the IP... BUT CHECK YOUR SYSTEM!!!!!!!!!

I have Comcast max internet speed 10mb, average download speed 750kbs, average upload 400kbs. If any one wants to test their internet speed you can visit
DSL Reports.
*Note, you need official java.com plugin for the speed applets to work.

I’ve discovered that Firefox takes a little more time to start than Internet Explorer but after that everything else is faster including downloads.
If I had a dial up, I would only be using Firefox.
They also have other browsers available geared for people that have dial up connections, I’ll try to find a link.

Hey Freddy that does seem strange; everyone else has a higher download than the upload, but you don't.
Try it again & see what happens.

Kansas City is the closest server, so that's what I did. Is that wrong? I tried KC again, and here are the results:

Edit: I tried Stillwater, OK. Here you go again:

I have a 2MBit connexion and I think it's a good choice. An higher connexion will be too expensive.
