Ive heard quite a few times that at higher levels the game can become rediculously easy and that u can kill virtually anything etc. Is this true, and if it is does the difficulty slider sort this out, and how? does it make monsters etc harder to kill, inflict more damage? Im only level 9 so im not really high enough to be effected by this, bt at levels 40 about is there any point if its so easy?

It's my understanding the the Difficulty slider changes how much damage you inflict per "strike" as well as how much damage you take when "struck". So if you play with the Difficulty slider set at +30 (Diff +30), you are going to deal out less damage when attacking, yet take damage more easily.

yeah the difficulty slider is DEFINATELY needed for playing the normal game. by the time u hit about level 40 like u said u'll need it on 100 difficulty (maximum) in order for the game to be even a slight challenge tongue.gif

I keep it set at 3X my current level. Makes it more interesting - especially when you first hit Golden Saints at level 25 or so.
