Anyone know how I can cure Vampirism without the console since my console doesnt open? Is it too late to save my character after the second dream? I really don't want my character to be a hideous freak anymore . sad.gif

You console doesnt work? That is strange... Anyhow, there is actually a quest to cure yourself from being a vampire. I think you get the quest when you become a vampire. Anyway, for now just keep drinking human blood to keep your apearance human [you must drink human blood every 24 hours else you drift more into being a vampire]

Once you are a vampire, you need to go to the church and talk with someone at the altar. They will send you on a whirlwind tour across the country talking to different people. You will end up at an old woman's house named Draklowe. She will make you a potion, but first she will need a few ingredients.

Try praying at the alter, it might still be a "disease" and not entirely infected you and thus the alter will cure you [not sure on this myself]

If he's a freak it's already developed into a full-blown vampirism and praying won't cure it.
The bad thing about the vampire disease is that it doesn't lower any attributes and therefore doesn't show up in the magic effects list, so if you miss the tiny 'you've been infected' message you have no way of finding out that you have it. Until you spout fangs, that is.

You are wrong Sordid! polyphyric Haemophilia reduces agility by 10. And it does show up in the active effects. However it is too late for praying after the first dream. It is strange the thing about the console, I suggest checking your mods. A cure does exist, the "questing way", but there IS a mod about curing it in the mods section. Please check the mods before asking for mods already existing. It saves up much time!

No, it doesn't. I've become infected several times and it never showed up until it was too late.

I think control over the console is in the .ini. Might try the find function when viewing the .ini.

You need to catch people while they're sleeping, then you get a sort of vampire tooth icon. Just spacebar (or press A or whatever button on the 360 you use to speak to people) and choose "Feed". Best to do this while sneaking.

As I've said before, Porphyric Hemophilia is extremely aggrivating. And it would seem that there is no hope for me being cured, seeing as the witch that is supposed to cure me won't let me talk to her about bloodgrass. closedeyes.gif

You silly people and your pushing 'a' and space bar. Use the mouse if you have the extra buttons! Anyways, when I became a vampire, I fed on the same person about six times before I got bored and left. I think I want to become a vampire again (I had a save game before I turned because I didnt feel like fighting the NPC's for respect)

I have the 360 version of it, so I can't press spacebar. And what do you mean by fighting people for respect?
Adras
If you are a vampire, people will not talk to you if you do not feed on someone at least once in 24 hours. Once you feed, you are free to be a person once again and walk in the sun. However, I am not always around town all day long and sometimes I got over the 24 hour period of freedom, then I have to wait till night, sneak in someone's house, feed on them then hope I dont get caught (I never have yet though.)
Loud Abnoxious Sigh
Okay, but that still doesn't explain how you would have to fight anyone for respect.
