How is it that I contracted Black-Heart Blight? I don't recall fighting any blighted creatures recently... And how is it that Cure Common Disease cured it?
Additionally, does the Guild of Mages care if you use Black Soul Gems?
Hehe, good one, Abramul, far as I remember The Blight was contained in Morrowind by the Empires (attempted) banning of travel from Morrowind, but obviously smugglers and such managed!
Perhaps a local disease got some bad pr and likened to a blight disease, or a blight distibuted by said friendly smuggler lost its potency after poor Dagoths demise?
As to the Mages guild, I vagely remember some mages freaking out while I was trying on the necro threads, I kinda filed a note to self that black robes are not too cool...will investigate further...

How do you get a ship in a bottle? Furl canvas and swing the yards in line with the keel, then kedge through the channel. Admittedly, it'd be a hassle, but not that impossible.
Of course, how the Blackwater Brigands did that to The Bloated Float without inviting some attention is beyond me.

Questions from "A Brotherhood Betrayed":
1) Where did Gelebourne live in Skingrad?
2) Who's actually been snacking on beggars?
3) That's a decidedly odd cover, posing as a vampire hunter. Your intended victims will have to display circumstantial evidence that they're vampiric. Seems Drelas lucked out on "tagging" Lirrian as a vampire thanks to the poor fellow's night-job, but managing the same trick with Gelebourne's murder as well? Odd coincidence, or the Skingrad guards are even more gullible than Bruma's ("Vampires actually love sunlight? Gee golly, who'd have thunk it. Thanks, mister!")

The way that heredity works in the Elder Scrolls universe is that the child's race is that of the mother.
Quite possibly a weaselification to avoid needing intermediate races.

Actually they are still able to get ships through there somehow. a good example would be the bloated float quest where a ship is hijacked and taken out to sea. The only way, I think, they could get past is use magic. That may seem like a copout, but its alot easier to understand.

Time constraints. It may take a dedicated alchemist several hours to work up Strong Potions of Healing, while the adventuring alchemist is bound to concocting stuff on the fly (literally, at times).
Same reason Sinderion can brew Elixirs of Exploration with nirnroot after 24 hours of effort, while a Master alchemist adventurer such as yourself can only manage a Drain Health poison in one second (truth be told, Sinderion said the nirnroot was but one ingredient in the Elixirs, and he never divulges the full recipe to you).

I've had Cassie-the-Assassin stand watch (she does use guard uniforms as a disguise, after all) on the walls of Anvil and Cheydhinal. Took a little roof-leaping, of course.
My question for the day: why is a Master alchemist reduced to brewing potions that contain
only the first effect of a single ingredient? Every ingredient has four effects: lo and behold, your alchemy brewing apparatus has four slots! What prevents a Master alchemist from enjoying the choice of shoving an ingredient into the fourth slot in order to exract the fourth listed effect of that ingredient? You're a
Master alchemist, aren't you supposed to have that much razzle-dazzle in your brewing skills?
