I went into some Dorian's house a killed Dorian. Turns out he was glitched and i had 200k by the time I was out. (this was bout a yaer back)

And a quick question, I'm making an evil Kajheet and want to know if you kill the excl.gif ( don't know if this is spoilers section so SPOILER lol)sleeping guy, do you skip the first quest?
Rhydderch Hael
I don't think Rufio even exists until you get the invite from Lucien. You can kill the guy who actually hired the Dark Brotherhood to slay Rufio in the first place, though. But killing clients, as I've said a few times already, just doesn't seem right at all.

There are only two people in-game that you know, or reasonably guess, to be clients of the Brotherhood, but in my book they're off-limits in the whole slashy-slashy thing. Bad for business, you see. That's not counting the traitor of the Brotherhood, of course (whom essentially is a "paying client" after all).
mrdramaboi
I killed a gang member using Unsafe Streets mod.
BobDoe313
When I wanted to join the dark brotherhood, I just punched the nearest commoner and he fell dead before he hit the ground. The guards weren't to happy about that... biggrin.gif
Black_Fire
I know u all heard it a lot but i killed the ............................... Gray Prince, random guard, beggar,Shady Sam and some other random people. And that is all smile.gif

Lately, I've taken to killing off Eugal Belette in Chorrol for my DB entry. Others on my "list of killed for DB entry" are:

The Grey Prince
The Bruma spies
The Athrams
Keld of the Isles (Cheydinhal FG)
Else God-Hater
Several Hackdirt inhabitants.

New one: The Not-quick-and-jumpy Khajiit from the Arena questline. (I didn't know killing people under Demoralize was murder blink.gif )
CheduWura
I killed Umbra with a goblin totem staff when I was level 2..... didn't wanna wait to get that sword, she's the most tactical target for this if you want to join the brotherhood IMHO, the sword really helps early on.
dipodrsc
I killed one of the Mythic Dawn members in Bravil while they slept.

The irony! The Mythic Dawn agents attack when the player sleeps, and you killed the Mythic Dawn agent while he slept! I love it!

the person/people i killed was every guard in the imperial city, thatll teach them to try and arrest me over a crappy fork!!! laugh.gif
palitoot

and the second time i killed one of the people at the kvatch kamp
JamesTruant
Every invite to the DB ive recieved have been complete accidents actually, mis-aimed spells/arrows are usually a factor. hence me taking up swords.
Marre_pro

I killed jean or whatever her name was in bruma when i first got there , Then it shows off that she's an evil son of a bitch
MastrGunZ
I killed the guy that gives you the go fish quest in Weye. I wanted his savings without all the hard work of killing those slaughterfish tongue.gif

lol. I did the same thing to that guy. but it was after i got into the DB.

anyways, on topic. My latest character, Assassin Rahm Es-Hestos killed a Bravil City Guard from atop a house with his bow. Then proceeded to kill everyone else that was wandering outside in that desolate rat hole. biggrin.gif

Yeah I was kind of disappointed that I went to kill someone just for a measly 50 or so gold that were his "life savings" mellow.gif

lol looks like your latest character went all out tongue.gif

At this rate every town will have nothing but a bunch of dead corpses with arrows in their backs.

Keep up the good work! laugh.gif

Everyone.

Everyone

My thief Khajiit managed to steal everything of value in the Imperial Palace basement before being caught by the guard while making his escape. That guard never left the basement, and I received a visit from Lucien the next day.

I had just become a vampire because I didn't know how to heal myself.

So after time the sun was killing me. Bad. I ran to the nearest inn and slept till the night. I believe I was in Leawynn(sp?). So I want out and followed a guy to his house and jacked open the door.

However I didn't notice his wife with him and she woke up right after I fed on her husband. I quickly sent an arrow through her back sending her skidding into the wall.
Unluckily the vampire victim woke up and noticed this. I had to kill him as well. Unfortunately a guard heard him. I killed a few more guards and high-tailed it to the Imperial City where I met with a contract to get my bounty cleared.

After that I was met by the Dark Brotherhood and then...

A trail of dead bodies.

It took me a long time to get into The Dark Brother hood with my most recent character- She was a goody-two-shoes to start with who slowly spiraled toward the dark side as she grew increasingly disillusioned with life (thanks in part to bad people dressed in leathers or black robes who always attacked her while exploring a cave or fort ruin). By the time she finished the Main quest, she was an embittered, relentless tough little Breton cookie. Having lost some of her best friends while helping to defend Tamriel against the Daedra (Jauffre, Baurus and especially Martin) she was not an approachable person at the time. Hearing that Nord guy who sits outside his house in Bruma (I can't remember his name) sing WAAAAY out of tune about the defeat of Dagon, she just lost it and smacked the fool with a claymore...
Lucien paid a visit a few hours later at Olav's.
Lolzor
I killed that poor fisherman in Weye.. Ofcourse after doing his quest.. But then, hehe..

I've finally made an evil, eee-vil bastard of a Khajiit and am looking to join the guild of murderers.

To all those who have already joined the DB, who did you kill to gain entry?

i killed Dralora Athram so that i could get her lucky amulet, which turns out wasnt so lucky after all cos one arrow is all that i needed to kill her laugh.gif and then that night i was recruited in to DB
Jynxi
Uhm... I honestly don't remember. It was either a bandit or that one Priest I killed on 'accident,' but either way I went to an Inn after and there Lachance was... jeeze his voice is odd. And now that I'm serving him in the Brotherhood, I want to murder him. Can't find the bastard though.
nanaka7777us
one of my first victims was Falanu Hlaalu for two reasons: necrophilia and being a member of House Hlaalu (she thought it didn't matter is Cyrodil....)

another time it was an Imperial Legion Forest...after he killed the deer I was hunting angry.gif

Glarthir allowed another incarnation of Saerina Deagroth, (Dunmer, custom class: Daughter of Death) to enter the DB simply because she wanted to raid the lair beneath his basement (from a mod)

another time I used the console to remove Maglir's essential immortality, he never had the opportunity to backstab the Fighter's Guild

and last but not least, the woman working at the F'o'c'sle, she should have paid attention to Hollywood movie morals: girls like her die horribly.
Achronos
I think my first victim was hillod the outlaw or some other person in the waterfront. I just think ridding the world of an outlaw would be good. ph34r.gif Boy was I wrong.

***first post on these forums***

My first ever character (a bosmer archer/thief type) managed to attract the attention of the Dark Brotherhood while still level 1
I'd gone straight to Joffry and then to that burnt out city. Went through the Oblivion gate and met up with the lost fighter bloke. He joined up with me but kept getting between my arrows and the scamps. I think i did far more damage to him than they did and when he finally croaked I got a mysterious message saying "someone has seen your deed"!

The brotherhood really do have eyes everywhere!

That little bosmer is still going strong (she's up to level 8 now!)and am loving the brotherhood quests (the armour was almost made just for me +10 to almost all my major skills! ph34r.gif )
Olurum
Hmm over my characters it's been:

Some fighters in the arena (not the Grey Prince). I think it was the high elf sisters or whatever they are. Not a clue why it listed them as murders.

Shady Sam - I just punched him to death for the hell of it. I'm evil. :<

Glarthir - I destroyed him at the first meeting behind the chapel. I did this because I wanted to raid his house for easy loot to stake to the thieves guild.

Well, i did this quest for a psychotic guy in Skingradwho thought he was being followed, which culminated in me killing this guy, then, that night as i slept in a bed to raise my level, a DB guy came and told me to kill this old man... anyways the DB questline is the funnest by far, i think, and there are lots of mods for it! plus u get heaps of freebies and moneys when u become listener (Leader of the brotherhood)
MrMarius
had two chars, morgan and Marius in the brotherhood.

Morgan killed the npc Vincenza (afterwards I found it quite ironic) in the Verona House (inserted into the game by a mod using the same name)

Marius killed a retired priest in his house in the IC Talos plaza district... reason: he was wondering how many people really had faith... I hope he had.
tomthegerminator
i killed the EMPEROR!!! MWHAHAHAHAHA

nah obviously not,

i killed some stable guy from afar with my good ol' iron bow. Yet somehow, when my sneak crosshair showed no visible signs that i was being watched, i was somehow spotted by a guard who had assumed that this suss lookin archer killed some random stable guy.

its a crazy world we partially live in
Lord Barkmann
I killed some poor bum, asking for a single coin.....yeah heres your coin right HERE bang sword in the face muhahhaha drop dead.
yibble2
I killed samus the baker (or whatever his name is) in skingrad. there's something lacking when you kill an NPC who doesn't actually do something, and hey, who needs a baker in oblivion. So I brutally murdered him in his sleep...

...with a club.
TheRealWolfman
I killed a guy named Rufio, for some reason, he was crying.
Warrdean
I hid in a bush and shot a random person in the Imperial City ph34r.gif
Malanus
I killed a beggar with a warhammer (so fun) in cheydinhal, right in front of the chapel biggrin.gif
Ginji
You people just don't get it, do you?

The Dark Brotherhood is a group of ruthless assassins.
They pick a target, then follow them around so that they can lay traps and get ready to strike.

They do not club random people over the head on the spur of the moment.
Lord Barkmann
Sorry man this is the NEw age of the Dark Brotherhood
We kill who/when and where ever we want to kill ph34r.gif

Go join the bandits. The Dark Brotherhood is a 'guild' of assassins. We assassinate. Killing random people is not assassinating and not the actions of an assassin.
Aflame
The first time a killed a stable girl. But when I reloaded the game, I went straight to slash at old Rufio. He's bound to die anyway. And I don't want to lose a dark elf stable girl because of that old guy.
Crisb92
A Bruma guard was looking at me kind of funny, then he said "good day," so he just had to go... painfully. Then of course there was the slight annoyance of a bounty, but, it was well worth it.

As a Listener of the DB I have to agree. As for my first murder, I had carefully planned it.Poor old guard didnt even suspect. I followed this particular guard in the Imperial City for a full game week.He would wake at 4:00 AM in the morning and eat an apple, potato and some vension(The point of telling you his schedule is nonexistent btw).He would walk through the Talos Plaza district and head into the Market, talking to the beggars and the Tertulius(sp?) guy. Later, around 8:00 PM he would go to the Bloated Float and have a cheap wine apparently, he always sat at the table where it was and talked to Hironymous Lex(sp?).After his dinner he would head back through there to the Talos Plaza district and take a nap, and start over again. Well, after getting his routine down I waited on board the Bloated Float until 8:00 PM.As he sat down I let loose a steel arrow from my iron bow into his throat, he flew halfway across the inn, knocking food and plates off tables and crashed into the wall with a large bloodstain smeared across his path. That night at the same inn, I was awoke by Lucien, and it began.
CoolCat6
Has anyone ever attempted to kill Lucien on their first encounter? I always thought it would be cool to show my strength to the DB by killing their listener, but inevitably I always ended up joining because I could not resist such fun quests.
ninja_lord666
You can, but then all ties to the DB will be severed and you'll never be able to join.
Randomcake
Killing Lucien is easy, but not worth it. Just go into stealth and when he turns around, whack him once or twice. Not reccomended though.
FuutonRasenShuiriken
I killed an imperial guard......it took me some time though......
SpecialS4UC3
I found an adventurer wandering around in a ruin, after enjoying a bag of popcorn and watching him struggle through the critters...I shivved him in the spleen.
wayne0188
I didn't read the whole thread so i'm sure it was said a few times... but I always do the Grey Prince's quest so that when I defeat him in the arena it count as murder, but no bounty or infamy... good for those Crusader armor people...
