Thomas on his way to caldera passed by a signpost with a note on it. He needed the money so he went into the fort and signed up.

I was staying at Skaal Village, on the island of Solstheim. I was intruiged by the amount of admiration they had for animals, as did I. Soon I heard, about some Imperials down south. I decided to check it out.

Sierrah walks out of the Imperial Fort and sees Thomas staring at the sign. "whatcha lookin' at?" she asked him politely. then she saw the bold letters on the note and began reading it. "cooooool!!! that's alot of money, so i guess i'll sign up. i wonder what the expedition is for..."

"State your buisiness" said the Imperial guard in the door way. Kain looked at him distastefully. "Out of the way, fool!" he hissed, "My buisiness is my own!" The guard was built strongly, though he somewhat shorter than Kain. And from his appearance the guard could tell he was a wizard.
"C...Carry on then" said the guard and let him through, though not before jostling him 'accidentallly'.
Kain glared vehemently at the Imperial, and straightened his robes deliberately. 40,000 septims.... He thought, I wonder what the mission could be...

The argonian walks back inside the fort and asks to be signed up. "sure, you look pretty strong for a lizard i guess," said the imperial. Sierrah smiles and decides to wait and see who else signs up.

Soon I arrived at the Imperial fortress. When i got there, I found they would not let me in. So I created a diversion... I set a pack of wolves on them, and I snuck in. Nothing like some Cyrdoillic Brandy....

"Yes?" asked the Fort Champion. "I suppose you are here for the mission..."
"Indeed" said Kain.
"Well, then, have a seat untill the rest of the crew arrives." said the Champion. Kain glowered and muttered some insulting comments under his breath. He despised being made to wait.

Thomas approached Kain. Hello Kain. It seems we once again shall unsheate our blades together. It seems though this time we have a few amautuers with us. Thomas walked over to the road and headed for red mountain. His dagger was in his hand and the hood on his robe was up.

I watched a careless adventurer go by...

Soon, he was knocked out, and I placed him in a barrel of ash yams. I searched his body, and found a paper. It was a ticket to some mission, with a reward of 40000 gold. I really didnt care for money...Or did I need it...But I donned his armor, to look less suspicious and quietly asked a guard where I should go. He pointed me to the building, and I entered and found the Champion and another adventurer.

Kain smiled darkly at the Nightblade. "I had the feeling our paths would cross again. Lets teach these children some manners!" He watched Thomas walk, then said, "Do you know what exactly this mission entails? Those confounded Imperials would tell me nothing!"

Thomas was on his way. He heard a fight going on but he was going to stick to the mission. He ran ahead. Soon he was at ghostgate. He waited at the gates for his slow companions.

Sierrah takes her own path to Red Mountain, prefering to stay solitary since there were no other argonians in the expedition. She pulled out her daedric crescent in case anything tries to kill her along the way. "i still don't know what we're supposed to do there," she said to herself

Kain remained in the compound still, waiting for more adventurers to arrive, so that the foolish guards could tell him what the mission was.

"What the hell are they talking about?" I thought.

The Champion announced smugly that we were now part of an expedition to Red Mountain. I had heard of the Dagoth Ur, and the Blight creatures, and i was ready to purge the evil. I quickly followed my new "companions" who seemed to be esctatic, where they stopped at Ghostgate, a symbol of the Tribunal's power...

Kain watched the adventurers come and go. Still the Champion said nothing. Anger brewing inside him, Kain finally could wait no longer. A violet aura surrounds him and glows as he chants. The levitation spell carries him swiftly over the hills, in the direction Thomas had left. Perhaps he could get a straight answer at ghostgate.

Sierrah had finally arrived at Ghostgate, and walked inside the tower of dusk to get some potions of healing for the long trip. She then walked outside and waited for the others like Thomas was doing.

Thomas waited on the other side of the gate. Around him was a circle of dead creatures. He was slitting a kagouti throat when he saw Kain. He waved at Kain. Hello Kain lets hurry up and finish this I hate the weather here. And I dont feel like watching over those other rookies.

Kain was hovering high about Ghostgate. He could distinguish a few forms down below. Suddenly, unexpectedly, his levitation spell wears out. "Ohhhh SHIIII----" shouts the Wizard as he plumets towards the earth. The forms grow larger, and he recognizes Thomas. Falling midflight, about 15 metres from the ground, he casts a slowfall spell, and gently floats to the earth.

Thomas laughed and walked to Kain. Intresting entrance. Now lets hurry before those rookies catch up.

Sierrah walks inside Ghostgate, angered from being called a rookie. She runs ahead of Kain and Thomas, yells something at them, and runs away

"Who is the Argonian Lady over there?" asks Kain noncommitally

Thomas saw someone yell then run off. See what I mean. Now I have a feeling dagoth's behind this. Lets pay him a little visit.

I went behind those garrulous people, lost in my own thought. They kept talking. So I took the liberty of getting a drink, and watch them make a fool out of themselves. He had called me a rookie... I have lived much longer....Wisdom is power...

.....Kain appears a bit edgey....."Just the two of us?" he asks, trying without much success to appear unconcerned. "Perhaps we could find use of a brash barbaric type, you know, to run headfirst into the fray while I launch spells and you come up fro behind?"

I overheard those two warrior's conversations. Seeing how they looked, they appeared to be veterans. So I went up to them, and asked what were the specific details...

Good idea. And with that Thomas and Kain entered the dwemer ruins of dagoth ur.

"I am a wizard of the Drow" said Kain to the strange Druid before him. "I havent the slightest idea why I am here. Which is more or less my life's story"

"Alright then. Let me follow you. The more the merrier..."

Kain followed Thomas. Something about the Druid gave off an impression of power, and wisdom. Kain was rather impressed by the man, though he said nothing.

Sierrah, being level 97, walks inside the ruin with them, knowing that she is not a rookie , and if they wanted her to she could help them or something.

I followed the young warriors, bringing along my companion for today. A bear...

Kain eyed the bear. Yay....animals..... he thought distastefully, gimme He noticed the Argonian woman trailing them. Alright, Kain thinks, Easy in....they fight.....easy out.... he chuckled.

She drew her daedric crescent, for she did not trust any of the others around her. "i hope they don't try and kill me 'cause i'm a lizard," she thought

Kain turned as he heard the unmistakable sound of weaponery being drawn. The Argonian had her weapon drawn, a great crescent blade. He tapped Thomas on the shoulder. "Why are you hear?" Kain asks the Argonian coldly.

"i signed up for this, so i'm just going in here to i guess kill dagoth ur... but i'm not going to kill any of you 'cause you haven't done anything to me ," she said to kain

"Straightforward enough" says Kain quietly, "Come then, all of our blades will soon be tested. We will fight or we will die." Of course, he thought wryly, [I]some of us have alternatives to pitting steel barbarically!
...Only the Druid needs to be watched.....[I]

By now Thomas had killed 2 ascended sleepers, a bonelord, and 5 skeletons. He was far ahead of the group who he thought was wasting time. He was making his way down to the bowels of the ruin when he was fed up. He ran back upstairs and looked at the group. Just so you know this is the DEVILS HOME. We are not here for conversation. And that air your breathing is ash. So I would shutup and follow me if I were you. And with that Thomas disappeared into the darkness and continued making his way down.

"alrighty then..." Sierrah replied. She looked at the people behind her and followed Thomas.

Kain smiled. He tolerated the insult, assuming it was not meant for him. He walked on behind the Argonian.

I told them: "Dagoth Ur cannot be defeated, unless with Kagrenac's Tools. We are not part of that fate. We are not intertwined. Only the Nerevarine is destined to defeat the Great Blight, Dagoth Ur. We must stay away!"

I found they went ahead already, so I ran after them...

The others followed behind Thomas quietly. This pleased him and finally made him respect them. Just a tiny bit. They walked into a room. Then Suddenly the doors slamed shut and the room locked. Then a voice shouted. *fools you dare come to my realm I will make an example out of you mortals!* Thomas knew it was dagoth ur. Then Thomas noticed that lava was coming out of one of the statues mouths in the room. Thomas and the rest were all trapped in a small room. And the lava was rising fast. They had little time. Well said Thomas now you can prove if your rookies or not. FIND A WAY OUT OF THIS!

"Great Job, Child!" I said sardonically...

I conjured up my nature-esque friends, including a few tree-men, which seemed to intrigue my companions. I took the time to break down the lock mechanism, and I literally pushed everyone out, using a chain of my nature creatures. We barely made it out alive...

Kain had come a little too close to the liquid rock. His leg was beginning to burn, and he healed himself with a soothing balm. "This is folly!" shouts Kain.

Sierrah had accidentally dropped her 'beloved' daedric crescent in the lava, and it was burned to nothing. "nooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!," sierrah screamed as she was pushed out of the room.

"FLY YOU FOOLS!" I cried...
I used my powers to give what remained of the crescent to the lizard...

Kain spun and came face to face with the horrendous maw of an ascended sleeper. He swore a warning to his friends, and shot out continuous bolts of simmering blue mage-lightning at the fiend, watching it's flesh sizzle.

I whacked out the creepy crawlers with my staff. But by accident, I hit the one they called Kain...

Thomas was amazed at the new guy. Well hello when did you get here? I am Thomas, thats Kain, and the rest are rookies. But you seemed to have saved them. Kain and I would be honored to have another professional with us. Now we must continue it will not be long before he strikes again. And next time it will not be so easy.

Kain feels a hard, fast yet blunt blow to his side. He goes flying and plasters himself involuntarily on a wall, then crumples down it.
He groans holding his side, and struggles to get up. "Which of you FOOLS did that?!?!" he shouts angrilly.
