B) Just wondering roughly how far I'm into this epic. In the main quest I've proven myself to be a possible Neravine and am on the 3rd of the 7 tasks. Is this ~1/2 way thru the main quest or what?
OddGuy
ya; give or take halfway
Peregrine
halfway through the main quest, .0001% of the full game!

thats because 25% of the game is being lost in the wilderness
25% is downloading and testing/playing new mods
10% is fighting cliffracers
10% is looting smugglers
10% is looting ruins
10% is freelance fetch this quests
and the other 10% is split between all the guilds/great houses

Well, that breakdown is pretty accurate, save for one flaw:

5% Looting Smugglers' Caves
5% Looting Ruins
10% Recovering from CTDs

Have you seen the movie clip yet? I thing it's Bethesda's way of marking midgame. Or pivot point in the main quest.

ah yes it might only take up .0001% of the entire game but you forget there are two expansions out. take into account all of the quests from that and you're looking at more like .000075% of the entire game. and to think the main quest has that small an impact on the overall world.....damn that's a huge game.

The main quest takes a long time, for the one character i've made so far who has done it it took 3 straight weeks of playing the game nonstop day in and out for about 5-7 straight hours...hey it was the summer and i was bored. real trick is to try and figure out what to do with your new found fame once you're done. joining the temple is always a suiting option i think, when you are done you'll understand.

NOTE: these statistics are based on highly complex mathematical equations that only people with the time and effort of spending hours on calculations to come up with a nice ripe and juicy number for you all to basque in.

Hmm after spending 25% of my time lost in the wilderness, I need to spend 10% of the time easing my tension by smoking skooma and going on killing rampages. Then 1% reloading for killing important quest related NPC's. biggrin.gif

I have to disagree.

The game is fully 75% fighting cliff racers by the twos and threes. The other 25% is quests, lost in wilderness, looting caves, bandits, tombs, smoking skooma, yadda yadda yadda. I really hate cliff racers. <_<

"10% is fighting cliffracers" ... HAHAHA!! 10%?! You ARE kidding right?? I wish it was only 10%!!

I must revise my previous post. 25% being lost in the wilderness, getting fricken annoyed because every 10 feet I'm assailed by yet another cliffracer, which incessantly buzzes in my ear. This is why I have to smoke skooma and go berserk on innocent people, it eases the rage inside.

woa that's intense, have you tried the skooma recovery program hosted by the Imperial Cult? i hear it's quite good.

well i would say 45-60% of the time is spent fending of cliff racers during the 70% of the time that I'm walking places, the other 55-40% is spent actaully walking towards my final destination.....or more cliff racers.

30% of the time is spent doing everything else, such as preparing to fight cliff racers, training spells to kill cliff racers, or gathering quest items that will undoubtably lead to the demise of cliff racers.

Oh yea, and after the main quest was completed what was the first thing that attacked me in the now blue skies of Red Mountain....a blighted cliff racer. Needless to say I should probably get that Ash Cancre checked out before it turn into Herpes or something.
